What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I LOVE HD MOTORCYCLES, EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM THE LOOK, SOUND, FEEL, THE ATTENTION YOU GET WHEN YOU RIDE UP ON ONE. NOTHING ELSE SOUNDS LIKE A HARLEY, BUT EVERYBODY IS TRYING TO LOOK LIKE A HARLEY WHICH SOME BIKES ARE CLOSE BUT NO ONE WILL EVER SOUND LIKE ONE. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO SEE THE SPECIAL THEY HAD ON TV ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY AND TIME AND EXPERTISE THAT THE SOUND DEPARTMENT PUTS INTO MAKING AND CONTINUING TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF THAT WONDERFUL POTATO,POTATO SOUND, I HAVE OWNED OTHER TYPE BIKES BUT NOTHING EQUALS A HARLEY IN GOOD OLD AMERICAN WORKMANSHIP AND LOOKS AND SOUND. I LOVE MY BIKE IT IS A 2006 SOFTAIL DELUXE , IT WAS ORIGINALLY BLACK AND PEARL WHITE BUT THE GENTLEMAN I BOUGHT IT FROM CHANGED THE BLACK TO 1991 BRIGHT RED IT IS A ONE OF A KIND TO SEE, THANKS AND I LOVE THE BIKE HOPE TO SEE YOU OUT ON THE OPEN ROAD SOMEDAY.

love the bike, owned it for a year now and have logged 5000 miles..no problems with the bike--but it is your typical noisy harley...would not trade it for a ricer...no rice burners here...

The springer front end has to be the greatest bit of HD history that has been available. I think its terrible that HD doesn't make the springer softail anymore. I had been saving for this bike for about 6 years and 2006 ended up being the last year this bike was available (this broke my heart). I had saved enough to get a bike this year and had tossed around the idea of a few different models when I decided to search for what I wanted until I found this bike without a ton of miles and in good shape and I couldn't be happier. Of course the springer doesn't offer the same rider comfort that other models might but if you are into riding for comfort you should be in a car and not on 2 wheels. Everywhere I go, people comment on the bike and want to know more about it. I have owned a few bikes (honda, yamaha, and harley) and the Harley is by far my favorite. I believe it to be the most reliable, easiest to work on, and by far has the best feel. NOTHING RIDES LIKE A HARLEY

If you want a sweet, hot, super machine, this is the one. I've been riding motorcycles since I was barely in double digits for age! My first "legal" motorcycle was a Yamaha 650. What a jump from that so many years to this!! Every motorcycle-loving American dreams of owning the muscle of a Harley-Davidson. No matter if you buy a Honda, Yamaha, or Suzuki, you buy it knowing you really wanted a Harley but couldn't afford it.

So...what Harley is right for you? Well, you have to ask yourself...what kind of person are you. Are you a long distance "cruiser"? Short distance "racer"? Medium-range Sunday driver? If you want to ride your Harley long distances, as often as possible, and may carry items, you need an Electra-Glide style bike. If you're into performance and sport, your bike is the V-Rod. If you're somewhere in the middle, you need a Dyna Wide Glide or Softail. I've spent years studying each model and it's perks. I settled on the Deuce. It's styling is strong and mean, but sleek and smooth. The front tire is laced stock and solid rear tire is brushed aluminum. The Dyna's shocks are moved from the traditinoal sides to under the bike in front of the swingarm inside the frame. Keeps the looks sleek.

I spent months searching for the "right" Deuce. I wanted something with plenty of chrome and nice tank design, but settled for black pearl. The previous owner was nice enough to upgrade the pedals and controls to Willie G. Skull which helped make the look. He also added Screamin' Eagle II exhaust slip-ons and a DynaJet Commander III programmer. With stock exhaust, the bike would sound quiet, but with the slip-ons, the sound is as mean as the look. The Deuce also has great stock bars that have a nice forward feel while keeping the body positioned for maximum comfort.

Overall, this bike runs as great as it looks and sounds. I would highly recommend test riding a Deuce among your short-trip cruisers. Best wishes and safe riding!!

Beautiful bike, exactly what I expected. This is certainly the most expensive purchase I've made on E-Bay and so far it's been worth it. I'm already considering my next one...

I've had many Harleys in the last 30 years but the fuel injected softail deluxe is unquestionably my "dream bike" It's a throwback or nostalgic Harley with its wide whitewall tires, spoke wheels and full fenders. It reminds me of the bikes my father had without the kick starter and the oil leaks. It also has the lowest seat height of any softail at 24.5 inches which really helps with maneuverability. The original owner added a lot of chrome and I have since added more. And with the way Harleys hold there value and the fact that it is "American Made" as far as i am concerned there is no better value for the dollar in the motorcycle market place today, and the friendships being a Harley rider creates can be lifelong and is an amazing example of a "Melting Pot" of varied personalities and cross section of american life. When you own a Harley you become a member of a very special club.

Bought my first Harley Davidson as a retirement present to myself after working for 33 years at Ford Motor Company. My good friend Marty also bought one as did his sister Marsha. All three of us are Ford Retirees. Our bikes looked like triplets when we got them, all three were black with the same options. All of us are very happy with the motorcycle. No one has had any problems and all three run beautifully. Nothing much to find fault with, the bike is just beautiful and runs excellent. Of course I have personalized mine with Samson True Duals as has my buddy Marty. I have also added the tour pack which allows me to carry a little more. Added the Road Tech radio and MP3 player so I can program my own songs when I want. The bike is easy to handle and the balance is excellent. Being my first Harley I can't compare it to others but I can tell you I get more compliments and looks with it than I ever did with my Honda Gold Wing. Gotta go...thehistorian.
