What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Chose the Yamaha V Star 650 for several reasons. Like it's V Twin Design, Shaft Driven, Low Seat Height, and Excellent Appearance. It is a joy to ride and will sustain up to 75MPH although once past 60 MPH the acceleration thrill is gone. Buying on Ebay was by far the best method of finding what I was looking for. Restricted my search to 500 miles and went for the Best Buys could find in that distance so could pick it up with my utility trailer. My Overall Experience buying Motorcycles on E Bay have been very pleasant and met 2 very nice sellers as well.

The v-star is a great entry level cruiser for the Harley wanna-be rider. It has good power and an excellent look. There are lots of after market parts to customize the bike with, you can end up with a totally custom ride that looks as good as a $20,000 Harley. The comfort level is excellent with an aftermarket seat. Road handling is great, cornering smooth with no wobbles. Reliability is excellent, I've experienced no mechanical problems whatsoever. Overall a good bargain.

This bike ROCKS! I'm a beginner, have around 2000 miles miles of ride time, and this bike is perfect for me. Not too heavy but still has plenty of giddy up. I'm a heavy short girl 5'4" and the seat height is perfect. I am able to be flat footed when stopped. The bike looks great and rides even better. Great balance. Would expect to ride it at least several years without feeling the need to upgrade to something bigger. Perfect beginner to intermediate bike. Highly recommend!!!

I bought the 05 V-Star to replace my 2001 Star that had 93,000 miles on it time for a upgrade. What I like most about it was this style of bike is very comfortable for long trips can pull two up and is a very dependable ride and it came in my color

The Yahama V Star 650 Classic is a beautiful bike. There is so much Chrome and wonderfully worked leather. It's also easy to handle. The only complaint I have is that there is no gas gague. Otherwise I recommend this for anyone, especially a beginner, like me.

I love the bike, had to drive 8 hrs both ways to get it, everything went AOK and have put over 1000 miles on it. I've purchased over 200 items on ebay and sold a few. One person bought an item from me and then lied to Paypal about it and I was kicked out of Paypal. I'm a born again CHRISTIAN, I'm not perfect but I didn't lie on this transaction, so maybe you can help me with PAYPAL if not I'll keep using cashier's cks. My FEEDBACK is 100% so why didn't the person leave negative feedback I did on them. It was a chevrolet manifold with 2 four barrel carter carbs.

I love this bike because I am only 5ft, weigh 110 lbs and I didn't need to do anything with it. I am choosing to put another seat on it but being the short girl that I am this bike was perfect. It is not a super fast bike but I wasn't looking for that either; maybe in a few years. I am so satisfied with my purchase that I have told all my female friends about it, and have had many compliments from guys on it.

The bike looks and rides great. It's just a fraction short on power and I'm a little disappointed with the gas milage (37-41 mpg). Overall, I love the bike.

We bid on this item due to close proximity to our home. The seller returned our call immediately. He was very easy to work with, and the bike is exactly as he described. The low mileage was an big incentive. I had a 2001 V-star last year and am very partial to the V-star. Very well balanced and perfect for me as a woman rider.

After reading reviews about this bike I was throughly impressed with its ability to conserve gas, ride comfortably and handle the open road. I'm am very satisfied with all the amenities to this machine. Its smooth shifting to the proper balance and quick acceleration. I'm enjoying riding much more than in the past with other bikes. I would like to add that if you have just started riding that it's one of the best on the road to take a chance on. The overall workmanship is excellent including the shaft drive. Smooth all the way around. The accessories are within reach and make for easy handling.

2005 Yamaha V Star: I'm satisfied ..

I dislike reviews that are about a buyers transaction experience, I write them about the actual product as do 99% of the members. People are still using the review section to post complaints about their dealings with sellers and that has nothing to do with the product. It's everything about the seller they now dislike and nothing about the actual item, vehicle, or other product. I guess the people that use the review forum to voice their transaction troubles will rate this review as not helpful...

I have the same beef with my 1100 Star as anyone, oil changes. After that I'm satisfied with mine completely. The price makes it all the more sweeter.
I started riding my first bike in 1969, along the way I have owned more bikes then I can remember. As I near 40 years of riding and owning I guess you could say I got lazy, maybe lazier? I wanted something I could rely on, trust, and not have to do daily upkeep on. Obviously I don't turn 10,000 RPM's for long sustained periods, I mostly cruise. If people want to dish metrics about longterm engine life, then it starts here...when you have to deal with changing your oil by removing the pipes, get an oil that last longer, cleans better, and breaks down far less easily. Or change the oil regularly and go through with pulling the pipes. I really love the bike but I can see how this may prevent a few from changing their oil like they should, because of that it may add to the longterm urban legend/myth thing in regards to metrics. Properly cared for this bike will last a good long time. If you like smoking tires and pulling hole shots, stretching oil life, red lining, or just pushing the envelope on a regular basis? Good luck with that... any bike properly cared for will last a lot longer then you'd expect.

The Vstar 1100 was modified from the stock setup. It had a custom solo seat, pullback handlebars and forward controls. The ride is very comfortable. Lots of power. Very satisfied with my decision to go with the vstar.
