What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I purchased this motorcycle in good faith, sent my 1000.00 right after the bidding closed. I emailed the seller and told him I would be down the next day. I live in Arkansas and the bike was in Florida. I got down to Pennsicola the next evening. I signed in to Ebay and the seller is telling me the bike had been wrecked. He said he took it in to have tires put on it and check it over. Now who in their right mind takes their bike in to have new tires put on after the bike was already sold. He said the dealer decided to take the bike out for a spin and some one rear end it. When I contacted him about seeing the bike telling him I was already in town. He said the insurance company had picked it up from the scene. Well I contacted the sheriff department to see if the wreck had been reported like he said it had. There was no report either. The seller had had a higher offer locally so he made up all this BS to sell it to him. So not a very good experience with buying this vechile.

I've owned two busas, an 05 and a 2000. I've ridden the bike straight through from FL to PA, a number of 4 and 5 hour trips to the beach and shows, as well as sharp twisties and long straightaways. My worst problem with almost any bike is going through tires, and I just put a new clutch in my 2000 at 27,000 miles. It's the most comfortable sport bike I've ridden out of a long list, and will perform as long as you're not afraid to throw some weight into it. I actually rode a friend's bike as the first bike I've ridden on the street - if you can control your wrist and hold yourself up, theres no such thing as a bike that's too big. Take the rider safety course at your state, and if you can handle that, you can probably buy a busa for your first bike. It is not as agile as a 600, but if you want a strictly track bike, this isn't it. I've owned a number of other smaller bikes and V2s, and the combination of power, comfort, and reliability of the Hayabusa is unsurpassed.
