While all of the magazines reviews were a bit over excited, who can blame them. This motorcycle is like no other on earth. The H-D Revolution engine is already legendary with it's smooth, high-rev power. Now they have put it in a frame that performs better than any production H-D ever. If your into having an aggressive riding position, a power band that doesn't stop until red-line, while sitting on top of a legendary Harley-Davidson, this bike is for you. NO POSERS ALLOWED!!!

Bike has great styling, if you like the look of a power cruiser. I personally love the look and the fact that it is a Harley. The bike has awesome Power and is a real thrill to ride! Small Gas tank means short cruising intervals, i get about 90 miles before reading empty, although not really empty, harley cleverly makes it read "E" so there is still about 1+ gallons of fuel left so the bike does not run out of gas...its fuel injected, there is no reserve as running the bike empty could potentially damage the electric fuel pump...3.7 gallon gas tank harley says, when mine is empty, takes about 2.4 gallons...newer v-rods have bigger 5 gallon tank. pretty reliable, bike idles funky, stalled on me twice at idle in 1 month and i needed rear Wheel bearings after 700 miles of driving, i bought the bike w/3100 miles. annoying noise at rear wheel prompted me to bring it in for repair. Lots and lots of accessories available so you could make your bike look real special! People everywhere who see my Cobalt Blue V-rod say the same thing...its like nothing they have ever seen before. Overall, i am very satisfied!

This bike is one fast sharp looking machine!I get compliments and looks everywere.Rides smooth for a hiperformance bike!The bike is loaded lots of chrome etc.,all i need is a 5 gal tank.

Honestly I never thought that I would own a Harley. Then along came the V-rod. Low, sleek, powerful, I fell in love. I was once told that owning a Harley is not all about power. It is about class. With this bike I get both. I get the powerful acceleration of the Riceburners, and the style and class of a traditional Harley. This thing pulls all the way to redline(about 9200rpm's). It corners like on a rail. I have scraped my boot and pegs. Depending on which pipe you have you may scrap that too. It isn't the most comfortable cruiser, but with a few after-market mods, I can put on 600 miles and feel pretty good. Little to no storage. Even finding a place for registration and insurance card is tricky. Tons of after-market parts and accesories. Pipes, seats, bars, bags, wheels, wind shields, and even N2O systems, super-chargers and bolt-on Turbos. If you are looking for a powerful bike that will turn heads, I would highly recommend the HD V-rod.

This bike is the most incredible bike on the market today - velvet smooth drivetrain and ride. Incredible engine and slick shifting - Harley Davidsons work with Porsche over the last dozen years is reflected in this bike. Build quality and materials are better than any other bikes out (certainly on par with all Harley models). Compare to fit, finish, workmanship to any other manufacturers, and you will see why Harley Davidson is the standard.

I bought this "like new, without a mark" $20,000 Harley off Ebay from a seller with over 750 feedbacks all 100% positive. The bike had 148 miles on it. When the bike was delivered there was severe pitting on finish of the rear rim, a glob of something on the front fender that when removed had eaten a permanent hole in the paint finish. There is also a couple of small dents in the exhaust. The bike was supposed to have been freshly detailed which it looks to not have been well taken care of for quite some time as there is oxidation on most of the chrome. Long story short, after making as much noise as I could and emailing photos of the issues to everyone involved the only compensation that I got was a check for half of a detailing charge for the bike and PayPal refunded my deposit. Ebay was no help and I am left wondering what protections are really offered. Thanks PayPal

I love it because its cool. Its a "simple" bike with tons of power, great brakes, good handling, ease of maintenance. HD doesn't always "get" ergonometrics, so I am changing the bars for comfort. Had an early model with forward controls:keep that crap for HD's poseur bikes. There is a great online site full of good people with lots of VROD expeience,www.1130cc.com.With this and my custom Valkyrie, this solo rider has all the bikes he needs! Oh, yeah, why did I buy it? Because I could....

It is like having 2 bikes in 1. You can cruise and get looks or crack the throttle to unleash a 120hp monster. This bike is perfect for that guy who wants power, speed, looks and a splash of youth.
