What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

The Road Glide handles better than would be expected of a large bagger in tight and/or slower speed circumstances.
The fixed fairing really helps the bike hold it's own in head winds or traffic buffetting. The cruise control and air suspension contribute to a a fabulously comfortable long distance touring manner in either solo or two-up configuration. While mo'power is always welcome, the injected TC88 is responsive and capable of doing what needs done to motivate this substantial machine.
The stock layout of saddle, tank & bars give just a bit of added room (compared to Electra/Ultra) that feeels just right for my 6'2" frame.
This is an extremely comfortable long-range tourer, that performs just as well in the mountains & canyons as out on the wide open road.

Purchased my Road King Classic used from The Bike Exchange in Gastonia, North Carolina. Road it home to Kansas City, Missouri in two days. Bike handles like a dream (took it on the Dragon's tale) and commands attention everywhere you go. I could not stop without people complimenting the bike. Wish Harley gave options on handlebar reach and windshield size at purchase. It wouldn't have mattered buying it used, but it is stupid to have a one size fits all approach with these particular items. If you get the Road King, put some Rineharts on and you will love the extra umph in the rumble.

I love the comfort ride and features that it has like the cd stereo and cruise control. Rides way better than my 2000 Harley Raod King does.

2005 Harley-Davidson Touring: Great Harley!

Great Bike! I should have purchased a Harley years ago. This Road King is just what my wife and I were looking for. Although we have never been motorcycle owners in the past we are now understanding what we have been missing.

After purchasing the motorcycle, I rode it for the first time and its ride condition is very excellent because it has only 1,700 miles on it like a new. What is more, its custom paint looks marvelous and many accessories that has been installed. I will keep it as long as I can.

I had a good seller who sent me lots of extra pictures upon request and I took the leap. This is the type of bike I like best. I previously have owned a "47 WLA 45, a "65 FL and a "91 Fatboy; then I bought an 01 FXDXT prior to this bike. I am a person who likes sitting upright with floorboards for my feet. The FXDX wasn't a disaster it was a hot bike with forward controls a fairing and bags and very few were made. My daughter has it now and is getting her baptism (sp)by fire having dropped it twice, it's just not my style. I think everyone needs to explore what fits them before buying. Beg, borrow, or rent one of each then buy what works best for you, this is it for me. I would also like to recommend a DVD called Ride Like A Pro, It is great! I bought one for my daughter after her last fall on a reverse loop freeway entrance and while I was at it bought one for myself. I think I learned as much as my daughter and I've been riding for a while. I'm 68 and the war surplus WLA came when I was 15 1/2, before that I had a used Whizzer and Cushion scooter that my grandfather kept running for me. The ratings are a reflection of the fact that this is a used bike with almost 50,000 on the odometer. Bye the way this bike came from Florida to California via Federal (motorcycle transport) a part of Allied Van Lines and I can't say enough good things about them. I also have to thank John in the MC service division of the Las Vegas PD who sent me all the orignal service records for this bike so I have only 6000 miles and a two year gap in records for when they auctioned it until I purchased it. I found Ebay is a great way to buy used and find a bike at a price you can afford, given the effort they put into insuring you are a happy camper when its all done, I'd give them a 5/5. I also found that asking questions is key to being pleased in the entire process. Take your time and don't be rushed. I like my 2005 FLHTPI (P for Police) Electraglide and I found out just how good the antilock brakes are on a police bike just the second day of riding, full upright stop in about 100 feet from an estimated 60 plus mph. Police bikes use a different system than civilian bikes but they are likely as good. I hope this is useful and they let it through. I thought the other information was important to potential buyers. THIS TOURING H/D HAS EVERYTHING POSSIBLE ON IT INCLUDING GPS, RADAR, STERIO,CB,CD EXTRA POCKETS FOR WATER BOTTLES, ONLY HAD ONE SMALL DEFECT ON BACK OF LUGGAGE RACK HARDLY EVEN SEE IT. GREAT SHAPE AND NICE RED IN COLOR. GREAT RIDE , MY WIFE ENJOYS THE CONFORT AIR RIDE. IT WAS CLOSE ENOUGH FOR ME TO GO SEE THE H/D TOURING BIKE IN PERSON, AS I WOULD NEVER SPEND THAT MUCH MONEY WITHOUT LOOKING AT FIRST. I DID A LOT OF SHOPING BEFORE I FOUND WHAT I WANTED. THERE WAS ANOTHER ONE A 2004 WITH HALF THE GOODIES , SAME COLOR , BUT $2,000 MORE MONEY IT WAS 15 MILES AWAY FROM MY HOUSE. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE ON E-BAY, ALL WENT VERY WELL. THE DECIDING THING WAS TO WIN THE BID AT MY PRICE.
