2001 Harley-Davidson Touring

Just received it this morning 12/10/12. Have not had a chance to really analize it yet but it looks good.

What I dislike is after the seller & i spoke he sent me paper work on the bike said he would let me no when I could pick up the bike Only I have not heard from him again. So I have been trying to reach him by e-mail & have tryed calling him about 10 times now with no responce. Dont no what to do at this point. Seller did not get back to me because he had no bike at the time to sell. When he did finnely buy a bike at an auction it had almost three times the mileage he was listing it as having. This seller is not a very honest person. I would suggest you buy somewere else. Some got ahold of me through e-bay & I guess from what I was told this seller has a history of trying to steal from buyers. So be safe. buy anywhere else

harley cleaned up very well, the damage waqs an easy fix will be buying from him again

THis is a great bike. It has a soft ride and is extremely comfortable for the passenger. I especially like the surround sound stereo. It makes the riding experience even better.

I had a few things I had to change to make her comfortable for me. Handlebars had too much angle. Changed to buckhorn style. Seat sat too high. changed to lower solo seat. Mine had red turn signals on back, changed to amber so I could be seen better. Do not like headlight on at all times. Put a switch in for headlights. Just minor things to make the bike "mine". Overall stock bike is a nine.

I've owned several bikes including a new Road King and a new SE Ultra. I've also owned a Gold Wing. This 2001 SERG is the most comfortable bike I've ever owned and a real classic. Plenty of power. You won't be disappointed. The only thing I changed were the bars in order to bring them back a bit for comfort.

The 2001 Ultra Classic is one great ride. The performance and reliability of the 1450cc motor meshes perfectly with the comfort provided by quality and craftsmanship that Harley Davidson builds into their motorcycles. I was enticed to bid on this bike by the low starting price and no reserve. Though I drove 4500 miles to retrieve it, I still saved several thousand. I highly recommend this model bike for anyone looking for a great American made touring motorcycle.

Bike is in like new condition..Wife and brother was impressed.I haven't seen it yet but their reactions to it when they picked it up is enough for me..Can't wait to ride it and customize to our preference. My wife and I have been looking at the trike conversions for a while now,,and have been patiently waiting to find one with the look that I wanted..This one has the look,,and with that great Harley Davidson name to boot..I think we did good!!!

Have owned a Road King before but not with this engine. Very happy with the bike. It has had all the chrome and options I would have ordered in a new bike (one of the reasons for buying used- everything I wanted but without the wait and cost. This man took excellent care of the bike. A true Harley man himself.
