What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

The Road Glide handles better than would be expected of a large bagger in tight and/or slower speed circumstances.
The fixed fairing really helps the bike hold it's own in head winds or traffic buffetting. The cruise control and air suspension contribute to a a fabulously comfortable long distance touring manner in either solo or two-up configuration. While mo'power is always welcome, the injected TC88 is responsive and capable of doing what needs done to motivate this substantial machine.
The stock layout of saddle, tank & bars give just a bit of added room (compared to Electra/Ultra) that feeels just right for my 6'2" frame.
This is an extremely comfortable long-range tourer, that performs just as well in the mountains & canyons as out on the wide open road.

The Ultra for 06 is the last 5 speed 88 twin cam ultra. There was a lot of excitement over the 07 models with the 6 speed 96 inch twincam however they are slower and noiser than the 06. They have the same engine as the 88inch but it is stroked a little for the 96 inches.

The engine and drive train easily handled my 6'6" 280 carcas along with my lovely wifes vivacious body. The rpm range is much wider than that of my old 80" Evo, so there is less down shifting. It is well balanced and very stable. It's not like my 100 inch chopper but thats why I have 2 bikes. That bike isnt comfortable like the glide either. I use the glide on all my long trips and week long treks to places far and wide.

The FLHTCUI Ultra Classic Electra Glide is the ultimate touring motorcycle from Harley-Davidson, made even better for 2006 with the addition of a redesigned adjustable Tour-Pak with LED side lights

The bike was exactly what the seller said it was. There was no bait and switch happening. What was advertised is exactly what I got. The purchase was quick and simple and delivery of the bike was expeditious. Would definitely do business with the seller again in the future.

The 2001 Ultra Classic is one great ride. The performance and reliability of the 1450cc motor meshes perfectly with the comfort provided by quality and craftsmanship that Harley Davidson builds into their motorcycles. I was enticed to bid on this bike by the low starting price and no reserve. Though I drove 4500 miles to retrieve it, I still saved several thousand. I highly recommend this model bike for anyone looking for a great American made touring motorcycle.

Purchased my Road King Classic used from The Bike Exchange in Gastonia, North Carolina. Road it home to Kansas City, Missouri in two days. Bike handles like a dream (took it on the Dragon's tale) and commands attention everywhere you go. I could not stop without people complimenting the bike. Wish Harley gave options on handlebar reach and windshield size at purchase. It wouldn't have mattered buying it used, but it is stupid to have a one size fits all approach with these particular items. If you get the Road King, put some Rineharts on and you will love the extra umph in the rumble.

the bike takes you where you want to go, with a little engine mods cam ect, you have more power than you need. great center of gravity. easy to back up, as its low to the ground. like all harleys they all have there little quirks. i wouldnt trade it for the new motor design EVER! THEY BUILT THE NEW ONES FOR JOB SECURITY WITH THE NYLON CAM SHOES!

It''s not the bike that I dislike, it is the way it arrived, I expected much more by the description and I received much less. If you are looking for an Ultr Classic Sidecar Bike, these are great. Just don't buy without looking at it first, people that have spent $28,000.00 on a vehicle, you would think would take very good care of it. LOOK!! before you buy.......

The bike offered is a 1966 175cc motor in a circa 1956 Model 165 chassis, so it's neither. A collector would be getting burned with this, put-together from parts. Research the "Harley Hummer Club" for confirmation.

I have always liked the looks of the road glide and when the chance to buy a road glide with low miles I decided to bid, and I actually won! It is a low, low milage anniversy bike, and I didn't want an every day bike. The whole process of bidding and using E-Bay was easier than I thought. I have bought other stuff since.

2006 Harley-Davidson Touring: Large Motorcycles

• Overall Satisfaction:
First of all, I didn't intend to buy this itme. But, the seller had the reserve set so low that I won the bid. Since I value my standing on eBay, I went ahead with the purchase.
To all of you who may be thinking of switching to a larger motorcycle, ride one first!!! Harley Davidson touring motorcycles are very heavy. I was used to BMW's....big difference.
There is no problem with the motorcycle, if this is your riding style.
