the scammer will try to lure you into off eBay transaction
ask you to Western Union / Money Gram your money to him and if you do, you will never hear from the scammer and loose your money.

The tell-tell sign is some free email address directly in the auction description, with a text such as

"for more pictures and additional information email me at"
"don't miss this chance"
"this car can be yours just email me at"

Never ever pay for any expensive item by Western Union or Moneygram

If you receive message that looks like from eBay - always check your MY MESSAGES section, if eBay sent it or if real eBay member sent it it will be in MY MESSAGES

eBay WILL NEVER send you invoice recommending Western Union as payment and telling you the seller is bonded by eBay, but the scammer WILL! Scammers are very good in creating "eBay lookalike" invoices in en effort to make their scam looking official.

AFTER YEARS OF BUILDING FAST BIKES THAT I RODE IN NHRA @I.D.B.A. I REALIZE THAT I'M NOT AS YOUNG AS I ONCE WAS, SO I DECIDED TO GET SOMETHING WITH COMFORT IN MIND. I'm a bit over 2 months into ownership of an '89 GoldWing and I'm loving it. Bike had 79K on it when I got it, and had been well maintained early in its life.
Found a vacuum hose leak when changing out the air and sub-filter and those three tasks made it run almost perfectly!
What a marvelous piece of engineering. Please know that any 800-lb bike however takes some practice, but support websites are numerous, parts are plentiful and knowledge is shared freely.
I highly recommend the GL1500 over some other years I considered for the following reasons:
1. Pre-'84 wings have a mechanical (cable) clutch, which can cramp your left hand. '84 and after have a hydraulic clutch, much better.
2. The 1500 has dual carbs (vs. the 4-carb setup on the 1200). Less complex, two less to sync!
3. This model offered for me the best value/cost balance for a modern cruiser.

The kids are grown and pretty much on their own, time for Daddy to spend money on something he wants to do. I used to have a Honda 750 back in the 70's and have known of the Honda product reliability forever. It was way past time to upgrade to the latest and greatest version of the Honda touring line of bikes. The bike runs and handles like a dream. I love the look of the Gold Wing and it turns heads where ever you go. I can't count the number of times I go out to the parking lot and there are people standing around looking at it. The Gold Wing has 'class' written all over it and is much more visable in traffic making it a much safer ride than some other bikes. While it is best to be heard and seen in traffic the Gold Wing is quiet which is much preferred to me and my neighbors than other bikes out there. I would highly recommend a Gold Wing (any year) to anyone that might be interested in purchasing a motorcycle.

I GOT MY 10 YEAR CAKE ON 10/28 AND KNEW RIGHT AWAY - I NEEDED A TREAT. I USED EBAY TO SHOP THE GLOBE FOR THE VERY BEST DEAL AND NEVER LOOKED BACK. THERE WAS NO SURPRISES, IN FACT THE SELLER AND I BECAME FRIENDS AND CONTINUE TO EMAIL TIPS AND TRICKS ABOUT MOTORCYCLE RIDING. IT HAD BEEN 20 YEARS SINCE I OWNED MY LAST BIKE. NO SHOP IN MY TRAVELING RADIUS COULD COME CLOSE TO THE DEAL I GOT ON EBAY. I HAVEN'T GOT ANY REGRETS.
THEY SAY THE GOLDWING IS HONDA'S FLAGSHIP AND NOW I KNOW WHY. IT REALLY IS A QUALITY MACHINE.
I HAD A SCRATCH (ABOUT 1.5 INCHES LONG) ON MY TRUNK LID. THE SELLER POINTED IT OUT TO ME. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL DEFECTS SINCE IT ARRIVED. I CAN'T FIND ANY.

We had an older GoldWing and really liked it. We heard that the newer models were even better. We found one that didn't require any shipping, as e could pick it up, and the seller was very helpful, so we decided to buy it. It was a great decision. The bike runs greatr, looks great, and was a great price. If someone is looking for comfort while mortorcycle riding...GoldWing is the answer.

Well I have been riding bikes since I was 17 years old. In 1992 I bought my first Gold Wing and it was a 1986 Gl1200I. I kept it very clean and nice and I put lots of chrome on it. Even though I hit a deer and went down. That was in 1993 and I am glad that I didn't get hurt just a huge bruise on my hip.
I started to look on Ebay for a newer bike since I had the 86 1200 for 17 years now. I looked for a couple weeks until I say it my next Gold Wing so I went after it. I talked to the owner over the phone and I liked what I was hearing. He took great care of it. So I went after it and won it by $4.00. When I got down to the airport Jimmy meet me there and on the way back to his place he told me that talking with me on the phone. He told his wife he hopes that I won the bike and I did. So I picked up the Gold Wing and took off on my new ride and I had 3000 miles to go to get home. When I got home some of my neighbors were outside and they could not believe the bike was so nice and clean and shiny. I had a great time riding it home and it was a very interesting trip. There is nothing that I disliked about my purchase.
