What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Like the GS but made for the street. Great handling, great looking (if a bit funky) enough torque, good acceleration but friendly and confidence inspiring. All around great bike with BMW reliability. Note that ultralight planes use this same engine because of its reliability! Also, the bike has a unique following perhaps because of its oddity, so while you may pay top dollar to get a good used one, you will also be able to sell it for top dollar.

This is a nearly perfect all-around everyday motorcycle. It handles great on the road and has impressive though not radical acceleration. Its freeway ride is very stable and strong and the large "tank" and small fairing do a very good job of shielding you from the wind which helps a lot on long rides.

Because it has a 650 cc four-valve single cylinder engine and gas tank under the seat for low center of mass, it is remarkably light and nimble. I come from a motocross racing background so I wanted a bike that I could take off-road occasionally although I use it primarily as a street bike. As an off-road machine, it is OK -- that is the reason I don't give it top marks in performance. It feels a bit skittish on gravel roads and it is a very large bike to take on the gnarly trails here in the Pacific Northwest. Some of this is I'm sure attributable to the street-leaning tires that came with the bike (I may try some dual-sport tires in the future). But I have a full on dirt bike for that kind of riding.

I love the styling of this bike. It looks really mean and ready for anything which it is. I like the 21" front wheel, the high fender and the dual disk brakes -- stopping power is excellent and very controllable.

One last item, I recently purchased a set of the BMW "system case" side luggage. These are really the best design I've seen. They are sleek, easy to use, expandable and unobtrusive. You see a lot of really clunky aluminum boxes sticking off the sides of these dual-sport bikes. They may be large capacity and indestructible but they really detract from the sleek design of this bike.

I purchased this vehicle for it's reliability and ability. I needed a smaller motorcycle than what I currently own to negoiate around town and yet be able to sail down a freeway with ease. This motorcycle, at the price I paid is a steal. BMW has long been known for it's reliability and craftmanship. This model motorcycle is small, light, dependable and, my wife can operate it also.

Fun bike to ride, very nimble with good height and a low center of gravity. The 650 engine has plenty of power. In the 2001 year it won the Paris Dakar rally in its class. I have done everything from take long trip with passengers, commute to work, and ride it off road. It has yet to disappoint. The bikes have been known to have surge issues, but mine seems to be spared this issue. I did have a radiator go out, but that was after 7 years of use and it was the only issue I have had with the bike. I like it a lot and wouldn't trade it. It is the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden on long rides. I like everything about this bike.

Purchased was a set of rubber foot pegs with mounting plates for a BMW F650ST motorcycle. These were a great value because they also came with the metal mounting straps that are not included when purchased from the dealership.

This is the fourth bike I have owned in my 12 year riding career, and in the two weeks I have owned it, can definitely say it will be my favorite. Not only does the bike have the same well built design and appearance as its larger siblings, it is nimble, easy to maneuver and ride, and for an 8 year old bike, starts up and behaves like it just came off the showroom floor. The only points it loses in my book are that the seat is a bit hard, rendering it a little uncomfortable after riding a while. I have yet to take the bike "off road", but I would feel very confident in tackling rougher terrain with it in the future. Would recommend this bike to a new or seasoned rider, just alot of fun and easy to ride.

Met seller half way from Indiania (kkyler is great!)great transaction, had a fun 2.5 hr trip back to St. Louis @ 60+ mpg. Little buzz in the handlebars and feet above 72 but more than enough power for my 280 lb frame. You hve to use the gears more than my old GS110E but it's so much fun. What an adreneline rush! You wont regret buying one if you truly love riding, soaks up most pavement once you dial it in, brakes are a little weaker than the GS1100E duals but you have to ride within the limits of the bike. Corbin seat is sooo comfortable for my butt too.

After paying the local BMW shop $80 to inspect I did not purchase this motorcycle as it was not disclosed that it had been totalled and taken out of the state to retitle.

Great bike to get back to riding on. Very nimble and light to build confidence. On/off road capability with adjustable suspension. Like the safety of ABS but can switch off. Engine known for durability. Great bike to explore the backroads.
