What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I bought the busa for a high performance sport touring bike. My wife and I are both 6 foot plus, so I also needed a big bike with lots of power for two up riding. The bike is spot on and performs flawlessly. Only complaint would be the leg room is just barely enough for a tall rider. It won't keep up with a liter bike, but I can ride all day without any problems. I highly recommend the suzuki hayabusa.

I've owned two busas, an 05 and a 2000. I've ridden the bike straight through from FL to PA, a number of 4 and 5 hour trips to the beach and shows, as well as sharp twisties and long straightaways. My worst problem with almost any bike is going through tires, and I just put a new clutch in my 2000 at 27,000 miles. It's the most comfortable sport bike I've ridden out of a long list, and will perform as long as you're not afraid to throw some weight into it. I actually rode a friend's bike as the first bike I've ridden on the street - if you can control your wrist and hold yourself up, theres no such thing as a bike that's too big. Take the rider safety course at your state, and if you can handle that, you can probably buy a busa for your first bike. It is not as agile as a 600, but if you want a strictly track bike, this isn't it. I've owned a number of other smaller bikes and V2s, and the combination of power, comfort, and reliability of the Hayabusa is unsurpassed.

Purchased a pristine, unmolested, stock '05 with 1400 miles for $5400. Added an MRA vario touring windscreen, Genmar 3/4" riser, Helibars, Towbin seat, Suzuki factory center stand, and a Krauser K5 hard case for the tail. I now own what I consider to be the finest sport touring machine known to mankind for a fraction of the price of a Concours C14, ST1300, FJR etc. Build quality on the Busa is exceptional. Stability at 80+ mph is superb. Rock solid reliability. Undescribably fun to ride!!!

I have rode several types of sport motorcycles. As far as a crotch rocket is conserned this is the king of speed and comfort. If you are looking to do alot of stunts this bike isn't for you. It wheeles good from 0 to 110mph no proublums even when you ride one for a 1/2 mile. That is about the only trick you can do because of the size and weight of the bike. A 1000 rocket is just a few 10ths of a second slower in a 1/4 mile but weigh much less so are getat for tricks but they are very uncomforatable to ride. This is my second Hayabusa, my first one was stolen and I bought another one, just proof this a great bike. This is definately not a beginner motorcycle!

I purchased my 01 Busa in late 01 here on E-bay. Great seller to deal with. Purchased the bike with 3000 miles, it now has about 6500 miles on it. The bike had a few go fast parts added when bought. I have slowed down on riding it but still take it to the strip every so often to get my kicks (I'm now 55 years young). This bike is the most fun a person can have as long as you ride it sanely and watch out for the other guy!! I guarantee you will not regret the purchase of a Busa, just make sure you do your homework and don't buy one that has had a hard life. By the way if you maintain this bike it is bullet proof. Remember you only live once!!

Have fun and ride safe
