I like the fact that is was owned by one family, It had never been raced, It has a lot of the rare original parts still on it. I decided to buy it because the prices have been falling on them, and it was within my price range. It also was only one state away and the seller met me half way.

A chance to own a piece of history. This bike is mean offroad motorcycle. Starts very easily. Transmission shifts smooth.Brakes are all there.
Minor dent in tank. I have seen the Aluminum tanks and the exhausts go for more money than the valued this bike at.

I owned one of these in 1974 and raced it to death. It was so much lighter and quicker than all of the European MX 125s that everyone had to have one. I bought another one 5 years ago and restored it to race in Vintage MX races. In today's AHRMA Sportman Historic 125 class, this bike has no equal. I've been having a blast screaming around on mine. Parts are still plentiful and, if you don't mind spending some time working in the garage, you too can be racing on an Elsinore once again!
