1971 Honda CB

This motorcycle is very easy to ride, considering the seat shortness, 100CC engine and my 5'6" height. She did not start when arrived at my front door. However, I paid $200 for a mechanic to fix her up. Now she only starts with a push in higher gears and runs excellent for a 42-year-old motorcycle. Overall, I love this motorbike and really glad I bought her.

I bought this motorcycle for the purpose of rebuilding and restoring it. The bike was in pretty good condition for its age and does run.

These are great bikes, very fast and smooth riding. I have ridden Harleys for ten years and my CB750 has a very different feel to it. Instead of sitting low to the ground 'in' the bike, as on a Softail, the seating position is very upright, very much on top of the bike. This makes cornering easy although it was a little unnerving at first. I am 5'7" and have short legs so installing a lower profile seat was a plus for me. The engine pulls like a freight train and can hit high speeds without straining. The disc brake feels decent and the engine sound is wonderful. I recommend it highly as an inexpensive and fun bike to ride.

My daughter introduced the computer and it's world to me just recently. I deceided to take a chance and buy the classic Honda motorcycle that I have allways dreamed of but could not find local. I contacted the seller and he seemed like an honest person and then there is the rating by E-Bay that helped make up my mind. My experince has been positive all the way. I did have a small problem at first but the seller was there for me and it turned out to be a stuck carburator float. A couple taps with a wooden handle and off I went. I will not be afraid to buy on E-Bay again.
