Harley-Davidson Sportster

This is my first motorcycle and I didn't want to go overboard until I knew what I was getting in to. The Sportster 883 was the bike that kept coming to the surface so that's what I went with. The 883 is perfect for cruising the Ozark Mountains as it handles great on the curves and has more than enough power for those steep inclines. I think it's a phenomenal bike to start with, not to heavy but still has the trademark Harley rumble! I will want to move up in a year or two but it is definitely the best bike to start off with and it holds its value well for that next Harley upgrade.

its the 2nd one i have had . never had any problems. gets up and gos. it is a cheep mans harley but hey. sounds great

Good item, good price ang very good comunication with seller. Harley Davidson is a brand I allways wanted to have on a motorcycle and, to be my first one I feel very satisfied.

This bike is quick and nimble for it's weight. All factory original condition allows endless possibilites for customizing. A lot of fun to ride!

The Harley was just as the seller claimed. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I would buy from him again.

I love this bike, theres nothing like the feel and ride of a Harley Davidson, this was a perfect bike for the money, I have some comfort issues with the seat but thats only one 400+ mile trips. Overall I couldnt ask for anything more

I felt I was contractually obligated to purchase as high bidder. Seller failed to disclose that vehicle was not safe to operate in current condition as the rear tire was no good. All the chrome and engine metal was pitted. When I talked to the seller several times, he failed to mention any of it. Would have never bid on a vehicle in this condition, let alone travelled over 1200 miles.

I like the look, color, frame, engine, gas tank, wheels and added chrome. I'm 6' 3" tall and only 260 lbs. The bike is probably too small for me, it doesn’t feel it but probably looks like it. The fact it is only a kick start makes it rare and lighter but I am 61 years old and when it's cold it takes allot out of me to kick start it.
This bike is great as is almost all stock, but apparently a very popular model to turn into a bobber with a hard tail. I would and have kept it stock but you are only limited by your own imagination, reality, your mechanical abilities and your pocket book.
Best for a younger, or someone in better shape than me, owner who doesn’t have any problems kicking it over. As I understand this bike is Harley-Davidson last year or the kick start only and right foot shifting.
Should increase in value as is it's condition is easily good to very good. Photos should reflect phisical condition. The current 3/23/13 NADA Values

There would be additional value added for low miles, custom pipes and S&S Carburetor but NADA doesn’t have adds for the older bikes.

the bike is for my wife looks sharp to small for me I like full dressers . she wants to drive it to work its winter now but I did take it for a small ride Brrr .
