Plymouth Duster

Won the auction then got told it had sold to someone else, werent too impressed, seller said he hadnt had chance to remove the auction, said he would find me another car, But never came through with anything

This was the worst experience! Buyer beware because the seller can lie, lie, lie. Ebay says they protect buyers but they don’t. The person lied in their description. Bold face lie. They said no rust. When the car was delivered I could see the carpet hanging down under the car. Three of the four floor panels need replaced. The seller lied and told half truths about other things. For example; mileage 39,482. I asked if that was the actual mileage and the seller (after I paid for it) replied, no. I’m sure it’s been rolled a few times that’s what the odometer said. I thought listings had to be accurate but I was wrong. I complained to ebay and paypal (because I used paypal) and they said the item was as described. Now if the seller said it was a Dodge and sent a Ford that would be item not as described. If they said it was red and it was yellow that would be not as described. Damage, rust, mileage where does it stop. Filling a clam is also not easy. You can not talk to a person. You can chat and they will tell you where you may need to send an email. It’s been two months and I still do not have the paper work I need to register the vehicle from the seller. But the seller has my money.

I owned a 1971 340 Plymouth Duster with a 391 rear - pistol grip 4 speed. It was yellow with a black vinyl top-duel racing stripes and rally wheels. In 1977 I paid $1100.00 for it.Performance was outstanding!Comfort and reliability was excellent.I miss my baby ! Everything in this car was tight and solid.

I bought it as I always wanted a 340 car. Originally, I was looking for a GTS to restore but a friend found it for me. Every day I see it I love it more and more. Engine sound lets people know that this is no oridinary car. The car is not done yet but I had driven my friend's Duster 340 and it was awsome! Super fast! In their day, they were pretty reliable. You could beat on them all day and they would still take you back and forth to work daily. I only rated it as good as I am not sure how reliable mine will be as there will be a lot of time before it gets some regular use.

The 1973 plymouth duster is OK for The project I have in mind and is in fairly good condution to start with
