What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

SUBARU... Let me start off by saying; that I will probably never buy another Auto makers vehicle again. I have owned 4 Subaru vehicles in the past 6 years and I currently still 3. I just ran out of room.
No Luxury in these line of vehicles. There are no cup holders that warm/cool, no shiny chrome trimmings, no auto rain sensing wipers... BUT, this Impreza and every other Subaru driven fulfills me to newest heights. The Impreza pulls off (wet or dry) and does not slip even in light snow. Cornering in this vehicle is light and forgiving with moderate speeds. The race like bolstered seats keeps your body planted firmly, allowing you to concentrate on the next and not trying to wiggle back into neutral position in the middle of a turn.
A/C both Cool and Warm never fails and probably the coldest next to luxury vehicles.
Comfort level of shock dampening is very forgiving even with heavy loads. Seats are firm, however, even after a long trip leave you feeling.... yes they leave you with feeling. Most seats after 4-6 hrs of driving numb you to the bone, not the Impreza. Gas mileage is great considering the weight and available power of an AWD vehicle.
Quality of life is no other. I have 2 Impreza currently with 304,020 miles and 201,446 miles. Original hard parts, motor/tranny. You can never be disapointed with these vehicles... ever.. I promise.
I have driven up hill in 4-6 " NY city snow around a BMW Xi, a Town Car and Lexus GS 400, driving literally around each vehicle. It was like a movie and wish I could of taped it.
GET ONE!!!!

got this car in 2005,great car for living in new england!
put Blizzak snow tires on it and I can go anywhere in large amounts of snow, one winter I was going by 4WD trucks like they were being dragged by iron blocks
my uncle is a subaru tech at a dealer so I have my maintence taken care of,about to flip over 20,000 miles with just a tranny fluid flush and the car is flawless
the interior is very basic and like sitting in a rubbermaid container, but it gets the job done
engine has good power,I have driven a WRX and it was really fun but for my "beater" car the naturally aspirated 2.5 has damn impressive power
weak spots are subaru's automatic trans, big piece of crap...clunky shifts, makes more noise than a cow being branded and so on....get the 5 speed to save on gas, which I get around 24-26 around town which is not bad for a heavy AWD car
other con is the rear seats do not have much leg room
if your in the market for a subaru, get an impreza!

This is my second Subaru, and I wasn't all that crazy about my first (1998 Forester), except for the fact that Subarus are sturdy cars that don't slide all over the road when the roads are slippery. They don't slide at all, actually. They never get stuck in snow. They're a bit utilitarian, but this Impreza impressed me. It's very sure-footed and comfortable, and the fit and finish is still good after 9 years. Visibility and maneuverability are awesome. It feels quite solid. There were a couple of outdated features. No CD player (I put one in myself, not hard), no remote keyless entry (I'll have that done, too). This particular car came with a MASSIVE oil leak that would have cost $2000 - $3000 to have fixed properly and I did a band-aid type repair that cost under $1000. Major bummer. But with the leak fixed, the car seems to run like a top and it feels like it will last another 133,000 miles. It's not burning oil. I'm very happy with it and I plan on keeping it a long time. Gas mileage is good but not killer good. I don't have exact figures yet. I've driven it about 1000 miles so far. Handling, acceleration, agility, visibility, front seat comfort, andcontrol reach are great. Braking seems good but I think I'll need new pads soon. The ride is very, very smooth and stable. It's less mushy and has greater road feel without being stiff or noisy than my Toyota RAV4, Highlander, or Celica. For sheer fun, nothing beat my Mazda Miata, but staring up everyone's tailpipe isn't that much fun to and from work. I've also had BMW 750il, Mercedes 560C, and Lexus SC 400, and of course this car isn't any of those, but it's very pleasant, very comfortable, it feels more planted on the road than any but the BMW, with high outward visibility, and it's pretty much fun to scoot around in.

it was a bad experience of purchasing vehicle from ebay motor. i purchased a 2002 Subaru impreza 2.5RS from ebay auction on March 18 2008. At the beginning , the seller was very nice and explained how nice the vehicle was. He told me that the vehicle was in excellent condition. Also, he said that this used vehicle was clean with no signs of prior collision damage. There is no damage evident on this vehicle. The transmission was tight shifting and smooth. There appears to be no electrical problems with this vehicle. All of this wonderful advertising effectiveness were just blind your eyes and cloud you mind that got you involve this fraud. im a victim. i tried to solve the issue with the seller. The seller became rude with attitude. i was reported to the Vehicle Purchase Portection. It's been a month and still waiting for it.

Subaru makes a great car. I test drove the WRX the first year they made that model in '02, absolutly fell in love with the car. I just bought a Impreza Outback wagon sport (the shorter wagons) and it is the perfect size for my active outdoor lifestyle. I have already taken it into the Outback in the PA mountains and works just fine. My kayak, snowboard, and bikes fit just fine either on the roof rack or inside the car and my over sized rottweiler fits perfectly in the back seat.

Overall the car is not a bad car by any means, fun to drive and seems to run well. I bought the car for the snow and winter, so i wouldnt have to drive my brand new truck and it seems to serve it purpose just fine.

I bought this car because I had driven my son's 2003 WRX and liked it a lot, and because I needed an alternative to feeding 3 dollar per gallon gas to my F-150 pickup. These are great little cars with the (at least for 2002) unique combination of all wheel drive, performance and reasonable economy. There is no getting around it, they are fun to drive under almost all road conditions. Although some don't, I personally like the "bug eye" styling of 2002/2003 cars, and think it superior to the styling of later WRX's. The interior is a little cramped, but better than many sport compacts. The seats are performance oriented, but reasonably comfortable. I would rate the interior finish as average or above for vehicles in this price range and a similar rating for interior noise at highway speeds. The down sloped hood offers an excellent view of the road immediately in front of the vehicle. Handling and braking are excellent (although the brakes had been upgraded on my car when I bought it). Ride quality is good considering the way the car handles and is not dissimilar to that of a late model Mustang. Acceleration is snappy in stock form and can be significantly improved with simple (but typically expensive) exhaust, intake, and engine management mods. Modifying these cars is not cheap, but they can be taken to 270 HP without altering engine or turbo internals, and with minimal effect on drivability, reliability, and economy. Another plus is that the Subaru engineers layed out the engine and related components so that they are very easy to work on.

The biggest negative to these cars in my estimation is the quality/durability of the exterior paint. This is especially true of the front bumper on my car which, in addition to numerous rock chips, shows multiple areas of clear coat delamination and peeling. I have heard similar complaints from other owners. With less than 62,000 miles on the odometer, both bumpers and the hood on my car need to be repainted.

Like the cars overall appearance, love the awd system, dislike the carpet and headliner. AWD , great reliability , fun to drive, nice looking and sporty.
Excellent customer service locally also. Can't go wrong here for the dollars if you live in a northern climate this car is extremely good in bad condition even with average tires. Very smooth to boot. MPG aren;t nearly the best in class but that's the tradeoff for AWD. She gets about 26mpg all around. Neither bad nor good.

It's just not a mainstream type of car where they all look identical. :-)
