good gas mileage and good history with these cars subarus handle well, but are not quiet on the road.they handle well in the snow .they are not for off roading

I have another Forester - it is a 2002 L which I bought off of eBay 3 years ago. The 2004 XT Turbo is even zippier. It is nice to have the sportier version as well.

I love these cars - roomy, AWD, dependable, better gas and handling than an SUV, not as pricey as and with an inch more clearance than the Outback.

I am sorry if you thought you were going to hear the usual sob story of getting a used car. More so a 1999. But aside from Subaru making top quality vehicles, the vehicle was in pristine condition ! And im not kidding when i say that even the carpets were without one stain, the leather flawless, the overall exterior and interior and all the electronics of the car were up to par with that of a brand new car straight out of the dealer !!! God bless the previous owner ! Now thats how you take care of a car ! Phenomenal Purchase ! I couldnt be happier.

I was SO happy with buying my car over ebay. The dealership was so nice to me and they picked me up from my hotel and brought me to the car. I would buy from them again and again. I have really enjoyed my car and it's fun to drive. I bought it because I needed more room for my hunting dogs, and also for taking my paintings to buyers. It's a great car and I couldn't happier!!

You get all wheel drive, decent space, all the typical options and 30 MPG on the highway for under $20,000. The interior is well laid out and workmanship is as expected on a mid entry car. Seats fold down for lots of cargo space. Good CD sound system.

I live at 5700 feet in the foothills of Western Colorado, I do have a flat gravel rural driveway to the paved county road, this winter was an active snow season, and I frequently used my FWD Ranger to break in the snowed in road. Although I collect vintage cars(not good in snow and marginal mileage), where I live an All Wheel drive is quite useful for snow and mountain driving in particular and good mileage is critical. I have several friends with Subaru Outbacks and Foresters. These Subarus are very popular in Colorado, They are especially popular in the "People's Republic of Boulder" where they have replaced the Volvo as the "in" pseudo counter culture vehicle(all true!!), but normal Colorado people like them also for practical reasons. The Forester was for me, for it is built for better carrying capacity(higher than the Outback), and the Outback does get a little better mileage(more streamlined). This Subaru, although used, was purchased from the original owners and still retains a new car look both inside and out. They drive like a dream, and I found out that interstate traveling still achieves about 25MPH. I bought in Nevada and drove it back to Colorado.

This car is great, the seller was up front and honest I can say only good things about this purchase.

Eli is a man of his word; a blessing to find someone as honest as Eli. I took a flight into Newark International Airport where Eli met me with my new vehicle. The car was clean, ready for the 6 hour drive home. I had such a wonderful experience driving it- it was interesting to locate items on the dash and by the time I reached the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, the Subaru and I were old friends. Everyone at home was really impressed to see the deal that I had gotten from Eli.
