What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

1994 Pontiac Trans Am: 25th has pros and cons

I have been the proud owner of car number 1364 of the 2000 25th Anniversary Trans ams built since 1995. Mine is one of the 128 produced with the 6-speed gear box. It currently has 13,720 miles on it. I have put a Morosso cold air intake and Borla exhaust on this car. Wow what a difference that made. It is a must for any 25th owner. What I love about the car is the exclusivity, the power and the gas mileage(29-30mpg when in 6th gear and using the skip shift. The ergonomics are great and the seats are comfy. Okay now for the bad: The white paint fades to yellow if you drive it everyday and get petroleum products on it ie. oil, gas, and road tar. The center caps are only good for about two years of use and then they fade out. Everyone by now probably knows the other issues facing this car and others of this generation: The optispark, window motors, headlight motors, side seat bolster on drivers side, weather striping around t-tops, steering wheel buttons that quit, door panels that crack from body flex. Luckily I have watched as these other cars have gone down the tubes and have done my best to prevent these issues. So far so good except for the steering wheel controls, but the radio is close by so now problems. So to sum it up for the 25th; If you want a car that not many people have and has awesome power, handling, and is good for cruise ins then this is your ride. If you want a car for everyday driving then this will cost you some repairs and down time as they are not the most well built car out there. A Honda might be better for that. But you can get some well used ones cheap and there are not many cars out there that can run like these can for the money and fuel mileage.

the car is a real head turner.the ws-6 suspesion is very firm a little jolting but handles great it is hard to not drive fast at slow speeds at highway speed you feel like 57-60 is 70mph the interior only show wear from seat belt& wallet rub. car does have a oder thats commen for convertabes. (old car)my other t/a conv had the same smell .for a 17 year old car with reasonable care the leather looks great the only problems i have had the front end probably coude use a stabilzer shock for the steerig to help keep the aligmment better the backside of the console lid is broken this a common problem.and the electric door locks are tempermental so are the lumbar equiped this is probably due to it being expsed to the elements more. the only other complaint is the trunk pulldown motor usualy is not working and needs to be replaced.paint has worn ok but coude have been done better when new.they say this 91-92 modals will be the 69 camaro/ firebirds because of the rarity of this model only 663 t/a were made. a estiment of 400 are still out there >?< i have personaly only have seen 5 bird/ta convert.sinse 1999 (i live in a large metropolitan area) when i bought a early 89 formula thats not many most i have seen outside that has been on ebay & cars.com. camaros typicaly out number pontiac 3 to 1.if your looking for a low cost convertable that realy turn peaple attn and is fast and cheap to work on you cant go wrong . my main vehicle is a 97 f150 supercab mark3 4x4 the v8 on the pontiac gets better gas miliage ...hope this review helps p.s GEN 3 firebird t/a website is very good helpful.happy bidding mark d

when i bought this item it said that it ran. When I went to pick it up thank god i brought a trailer. The car had two flat tires, I had to jump the car to get it to start, and it would not stay running. I got it home and had to put a brand new starter in it, the feul pump went not to long after. When it is advertised as runs great, I expect it to be in running condition. Other than that problem, the underneath of the car is in excellent condition for the year of the car. A few of the inside mouldings were missing and the inside was torn apart assuming that they were in the process of redoing the inside. Little things missing like nuts to hold the inside pieces. Other than that, I can't wait to get it running.

This is an AMAZING vehicle. I own an extremely rare stock covnertible edition of the 5.7L Trans Am and I'm confident that there isn't another convertible out there as wrecklessly fast and dangerous as this one. You'll pass people wondering why they're going so slow, only to realize you accidentally started driving 95 mph. The ride is unusually comfortable, too. It's like riding on a magic carpet. Cornering is amazingly smooth. I've only found two problems. One, they crammed a huge engine into a tiny space, making it difficult to maintain. Second, the car WAS NOT DESIGNED to go slow. The brakes need to be fully depressed to keep it from launching forward while idling at a light.

In case you can't tell, I love my car!

Flew down to Fort Meyers Fla to look at a 1981 white / red trans am . The sellers name is taforsale .The car was a rusted out bucket of bolts with a Earl Schieb paint job on it and nothing as represented in his pictures. he takes these cars to a beautiful place and takes very careful pictures only showing the good areas and makes the cars appear nicer than they really are . This guy is the rudest most unprofessional man Ive ever dealt with . I just cant understand why anyone would buy from him . He buys these cars and doesnt title them to avoid sales taxes leaving us to deal with the headache of straightening out the problem . aside from that he claims this is just a hobby yet he has as many as 4-5 cars for sale at any one time . he has an extensive civil court history of record in lee county and its all public record . Anyone thinking of buying from this man should not go by the feedback he has on here but rather look up his court records , its free and easy . This man cost me over 750 dollars in wasted travel expenses and thinks he should not have to care one bit . BUYER BEWARE !!!!

This a a GREAT performing car if you can get one that has been TREATED WELL. That's the key! I have had an '84 SE before and now the '85 Trans Am since '95. The interior is plastic as it is an 80's GM and breaks after aging, but there are SO MANY parts on Ebay and you can find anything you need and fix it all with a ratchet and wrench for cheap. Any area mechanic can fix this car as it has the ever popular GM (Chevy) small block. Body panels are cheap too, so if there is a good one mechanically, but it has a dent, consider it! I see so many great cars like T/A GTAs with terrible, old paint that people pass them up and for a low cost paint job you could have a GREAT car. You can also buy a fixer-upper and mix and match parts from various years, like putting '87 GTA crosslace rims on an '84-or how about a '91 slope nose or tail lights? These Birds can be found so cheap and just need a little cosmetic work that they have to be the biggest gain for the least amount. Actually, there was an Edmunds (I think) article a couple of years ago that said so. Don't let the low '80s horsepower fool you, either. The torque and shifting are incredible and can glue you to the seat back. With 130,000 miles on it I drove it from WI to CA pulling the biggest U-Haul trailer they had and had no trouble. Mine is 23 yrs old and not just hanging in there, but perfectly fine according to my mechanic and I regularly drive it. I actually bought a BMW a few years ago and decided to grow up and sell the T/A, but just never did it AND I AM SOOO GLAD. These days I am driving the Bird more often than the BMW. It is just so good looking and fun. In short, if the engine is sound and the frame straight, just about everything else can be found for cheap and fixed fast. Don't buy a beater, spend an extra thousand or two up front and you won't be sorry.
