What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Bought this car new in 1991 and had to quit driving it after 360 K miles. Wonderful on gas 35-40 miles per gal. By the way it was a manual shift. Handled like a dream on snow and ice. It would go anywhere. In fact it was used once to bring in a full Elk during hunting season as our pick-up was out of commission. Would love to find another. Just do real good maintance and change the timing belt every 70K miles.

I find out after i have owned 2 of these cars that they have a bad reputation for engine problems. my first one has 165,000 miles with no problems, except the "Michigan" body is rusting and falling apart. I bought a second one only to find out it has a cracked block. I have heard tat cracked blocks, and heads are an issue with this 2.0l 4cyl.

I had a 91 Pontiac Sunbird convertable, cherry red. I am sad to have to depart from it. I would not being doing so if it wasn't for my license being revoked for loving driving it to the beach and around town. I loved just driving down the open road late at night top down.

I would not recommend it as a family car (at least not the 2 drs) due to the fact that the backseat is very lil, and even having a 2yr old child in a carseat caused me to feel uncomfortable.
But even so, for 2 people riding comfortable is simple. In fact I have even been able to sleep in my car after a fight with the one I was seeing.

As for gas milage! IT IS AMAZING!!! I get better gas milage then new Ford Focus's (comparing 2003,2004,2005, and a 2006 model) as well as better then any PT Cruiser or mustang! My car is the oldest out of all my friends yet we decided it was best to take my car when the gas prices hit $3+ a gallon!
I chose not to repair the AC due to it bein a convertable and the only time I would want AC is in summer when I would also want the top down.

I was able to actually take it off the lot w/o any water or oil for 2 weeks (due to spending all the $$$ for the car couldnt afford the extra maintenence til the following pay period) and on its last night I drove it home, engine was smoking hard! I thought that it would be over and so did others that saw my car including the mechanics but sure enough I just simply added oil and water and started right up no extra work needed after nearly killing it!

I would highly recommend this car for anyone not wanting to pay out the @$$ for a new convertable or/and maintence.

1992 Pontiac Sunbird: 1992 Pontiac Sunbird review

Very good gas mizer. This car will run forever as long as you keep the fluid levels up. They are also peppy, and handle well. The only complaint would be passenger side leg room is a little bit under par.
