What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I have owned my 1997 grand prix for about 5 years now. I like it and it is a nice riding car the problem is it is getting older and in need of some repairs. it is going to need headlights (Clouded over) rear struts, for now. Other than that the car does ride nice, has ample power, is a nice ride ont he highway. It has the wider body for corners and corners like a champ for the size and year of the car. overall I am happy owning one and it has never given me trouble yet. Gets me where I need to go and still looks good for being 10 years old.

2004 Pontiac Grand Prix: 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP - One Fast Family Sedan

The main reason I purchased this car new is this is one of the fastest 4 door family sedans out there with the 3.8 Litre Supercharged engine (260HP)and it's a Pontiac. It has the power of a V8, but has the gas mileage of a V6, 22MPG (56 mile daily commute) and 25-26MPG on the highway. This is the same engine that was in the 85-87 Buick Grand National (except supercharged not turbocharged), so there are plenty of engine modifications out there to really make this thing fast when it is out of warranty. I like the way the car looks, drives, rides and handles. I also like how the seats and interior wrap around you like a cockpit and the red instrumentation at night. The Grand Prix also has just about every option you could ever want in a family sedan, plus you can add options fairly easily if you want more, like an automatic dimming rearview mirror, or a 5 button DIC display instead of the stock 3 button DIC (I bought on ebay). GM also has a lot of customized options for the Grand Prix like grills, rear spoiler and polished stainless exhaust tips (I also bought on ebay). As you can tell by my description, I love this car, great power, great looks and good gas mileage. I have only had 3 minor problems since new and the car has 24K on it now. Drive one and you will want one!

1995 Pontiac Grand Prix: Car was a safety hazard

I was completely robbed with this purchase. I was lied to about the vehicle when I picked it up and was nearly in a major accident due to the vehicle was not safe to drive. The transmission literaly had a fist size hole in it, and it had some of the gears coming out of it on the frame of the vehicle. By the time I got it home all of the transmission fluid was out. You could see exactly where I drove by following the trail of transmission fluid on the ground. The front end of the vehicle also needs alot of work that I was not notified about. I strongly DO NOT recomend buying from this person on ebay.

1992 Pontiac Grand Prix: Don't Buy from eBay seller mwd20. BOSTON AUTO WOBURN MA

I won this car on eBay from a very shady character. He lied to me right to my face about problems with the car. The car was just on empty so there was no way for me to know that there was a 3 inch rusted hole along the seam of the gas tank that you can see plain as day and put your fingers right inside the tank after I had it put on a lift when it didn’t pass Massachusetts Inspection.
Had to argue with Larry the owner of NEW BOSTON AUTO...210 NEW BOSTON ST...WOBURN, MA 01801 when I went to pick up the car and the hood release wouldn’t engage. He said it was a 2 person job to open it. After I threatened to not to go forward with the sale until he fixed it did he.
The car was advertised with 95,795 miles But when I received it from them after purchasing, it had almost 99,000 miles on it.
I noticed that the ENGINE TEMP LIGHT was going on and off.
Larry said it was a false light and it was working perfectly. In fact I later found out the Electric fans where not turning on due to bad wires. I had to rewire wire it myself.
I offered to buy a new gas tang and pay for all the parts if he had is garage install the gas tank so it would pass inspection. Larry said since I won with such a low bid it is being considered a parts car in Massachusetts so there is no need for him to cover anything.
I also noticed that there was a lot of rust on the car and they hid it from the pictures on ebay by spray painting over them with gray and white paint to mask them.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Massachusetts State State Attorney Generals office

Sellers were wonderful. Lovely car in excellent condition. The sunfire red color is a plus, but the low mile, highly maintained car is fabulous. No dents, scratches, interior like new. This is a pampered 9 yr old car. Fabulous buy. Thank you!

I bought this car because it was loaded with options and sounded good. Upon acceptance, I noticed a slight engine knock after revving it up/letting it rev down. The exhaust system was rusty and muffler layers were separating. I didn't want to work on the car so had to pass it up. These are good cars and convertibles are true classics. Someone else bought it in a few days (off Ebay) and got a good car. I hated to pass it up, and am sure the buyer (likely his first GP convertible) will be happy with the car.

the car was very poorly described! i have had it for over 2 months now and cant even drive it to work because 1. it does not hold power steering fluid, 2. broke a tie rod three days after i bought it 3. windows do not work and the air conditioning does not work like the ad said. I have bought a few items and been very satisfied but its sellers like this that make it hard to trust anyone.
