What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

2006 Pontiac GTO: Wolf in Goat's Clothing, Excellent Bang for the Buck

For the money, this is the most powerful car you can buy. You will not see another 400 plus horsepower car until you get around the $50K range. The Corvette powertrain is durable and reliable. The interior is one of the best I have ever seen in a GM product. The back seat room is larger than the Mustang's (my kids are as comfortable as us in the front seat). The fully independent suspension is sprung too softly for my tastes, but my other car is a Lotus Elise (everything is softly sprung compared to an Elise). The GTO exterior is somewhat plain, but it is much better to blend in with traffic and not attract attention.

The GTO offered me a great combination of comfort, reliability, and power in a sophisticated package at a fantastic price.

Excellant automobile. Interior is quality all over. No cheap plastic panels. Fit and finish is superb inside and out. More than ample power and 22-23 mpg when driven responsibly. Tastefully done package, the right balance between aggressivness and street comfort. Suspension and steering is pliable but lots of road feel. Brakes are second to none. You would spend upwards of 60K to repeat this package under another name. It just.... Feels Good!

I got my GOAT on a recent trip to Florida. The ride home was incredible! The seats become a part of you and I never got tired of being in the car for the entire 11 hour drive. My daughter loved the back seat, but had one complaint, NO rear accessory outlet. That was easily fixed with a stop at a Walmart to get an outlet splitter. The power of the LS2 is amazing, no matter where you are at on the dial, it is always willing to give you much more, and that exhaust note is to die for. The interior is by far the best I have ever been in for my 37 years on this planet. As for the styling of the exterior, I love it. The mustang GT's do look tough from the front, but the rear...OUCH! I really can't speak for reliability right now, but so far so good. If I have to say one thing that I dislike about the car, it would have to be the lack of trunk space. I read somewhere that you could fit 2 sets of golf clubs in it....HA! Oh well, the ear to ear smile my wife and I get each time we slide into the GTO is well worth the lack of trunk space. One final thought, if you are thinking of getting one, don't think any longer, they are incredible!

You should explicitly inform purchasers up front that there is absolutely no buyer protection plan on salvage vehicles purchased on your website. I had a negative experience on your website and I will be extremely liberal about sharing this with everyone I know and encounter! Your intervention and involvement is desperately needed to provide a buyer with a pleasant purchasing experience and it reflects on your website whether you like it or not!

bought mine brand new from the dealer! after having some modern day suposed muscle cars, this is easily the best buy for the price. The interior feels like my living room recliner. Anyone out there that still thinks that the stick shift is faster than my automatic is just a fool! This car changes gears so smoothly that the only way you know it's shifting is when you hear it chirp the tires from 2nd to 3rd gear. Yes the automatic chirps gears! Amazing power! When you shift from park to drive, the rear drops down to load the suspention for travel. And one final note....at 135 mph the car doesn't even vibrate let alone shake! FASTER?? Well the manufacturer sets the govern at 135 mph and I haven't gotten around to taking it off yet. Happy motoring!

Whats not to love..
The Cost ? A 325-400 HP car under $30,000 (Less than an Accord)
The Interior ? So comfortable, its almost like a jet fighter cockpit
The Speed ? Faster than the first generation Vipers.. but more streetable
The Handling ? Deigned by Opel and Tweaked by Holden so it has tight European handling.. better than any of the previous generation F-bodys and comparable to a BMW.

Its absolutely the best bang for the buck..

Loved mine so much that at 35,000 miles (Without a single problem) I upgraded to the 2006 and love it just as well.

Hows it compare to the old GTOs? Its faster, handles better, is more comfortable.. although I have to say dropping the top on my 1966 Convertible is great.. the modern GTO is just that a modern GTO.. It's truely a GTO and not some fake badge engineered car that shames the old car..

I Love this car! I drive several high end German cars and at the end of the day I prefer getting into the GTO. It's such a joy to drive. No B.S. features just a pure driver's car. I wish I could buy two of them!

For those of you that know the true legends "Arnie The farmer" Beswick , The God Father of The GTO "Jim Wangers" and Mr. Royal Bobcat "Milt Schornack" then you certainly know these guys put the GTO where it is today. are we Lucky or Blessed ? that the GrandDaddy of all was the (Great one ) "John Delorean" who deserves all the credit for a design that smybolized a generation of new, younger & the more affuent drivers with a need for speed with the slick sporty body style known today as
(Gran Turismo Omologato) "GTO" The "first muscle car". which by the way i currently own and have had since 1972 that still looks like it did when it was purchased as a used 5 year old grocery store beater yeap for $950.00 bucks i am infact the second owner to this all original, numbers matching 4 speed 400 HP with optional 390 quick ratio rearend. If you love the roar of the Tiger as i do then you surely know why the GTO is still the most fougth after car today.John Delorean got it right when he designed the GTO's in the 60's. For me those are and will always be the Good Old Days . So, with that said whenever i feel the need to revisit my youth i simply walk to the garage lift off the cover, polish her chrome , turn on the radio listening to the oldies and take her cruseing for thats what Made in America is all about.

I love this car.. fast & quiet. Condition is fair, which was described. Runs like a scalded dog. Seller was great communicator. Engine & tranny rebuilt, as listed.

Just sorry that PayPal, once again, dragged their feet on correcting my password.
So, I just went on w/o them..
