What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

What can I say? I love this truck. I have the 2006 Titan Crew Cab with the tow package and the bed kit. Nissan really did their research when designing the Titan. I have out-pulled similarly set-up trucks from the 'big 3' makers (Ford F150, Chev 1500, Dodge 1500) with the closest offering they have to the Titan's engine size. It really wasn't much of a contest comparing stock truck to stock truck...and I've always been a Ford fan. Nissan also did a great job researching the little things people want added on to a truck, and include these in the packages you can purchase on the truck. The tow package is well worth it, including the trans oil cooler and gauge, larger extendable mirrors, and high-rated receiver. The bed package is great with the factory applied spray-in bed liner, tie down rails, in-bed outlet, cargo light, etc.
The one thing I didn't think I would care for much has become one of my favorite features. This is the roll-down back window.
On top of all these options, the truck is a VERY comfortable, very smooth quiet ride. There are a few reviews where people don't like the sound of the exhaust after a while. It doesn't seem any louder than any other similar truck. I'm guessing those people come from riding cars and aren't used to trucks. The exhaust does have a great deep pitch, but doesn't interfere with the stereo or conversations in the cabin due to great sound insulation. The seating is very comfortable even for long drives.
Power on both bottom and top end are excellent. I'm guessing this is mostly due to the dual overhead cams. This engine can breathe!

I researched for over a year while I was gathering the money for my one and only new truck purchase. There is absolutely nothing that pleased me anywhere near as much as the Titan, and the 'big 3' all cost a lot more. Here it is over a year later and I couldn't be more happy.

2006 Nissan Titan: 06 Nissan Titan Crew Cab LE 4X2

• Performance:5/55/5
• Reliability:5/55/5

After doing a rather extensive amount of research, and I do mean extensive, I decided to go with a used Nissan Titan Crew Cab LE 2 wheel drive. You can easily find the numbers and reviews out there so I will just focus on why I personally chose to buy a Nissan Titan

For starters I do not like to buy new and especially a $40K truck that will immediately loose several thousand off the lot doesn't make sense to me. I also didn't want to spend more then I had to get a truck with everything that I wanted but still wanted the new style/power/chassis/towing/comfort... features so that means about 2003-2006 year trucks were in my category and made the most sense to me.

To be honest I don't particularly like Dodge and I really love the new Chevy but for the years I could afford they just don't seem to be as good in the consumer ratings. So basically that left Ford F150 and Toyota to compare against the Titan.

I love the reliability of Toyota and I have always liked the Tundra. It's a great truck and the 05-06 seemed to have the best "smooth" power delivery of them all and felt the smallest/nimble while driving but really seemed to be a little too small in size and towing power, and the price was always just a bit too high for me considering the competition. The brand new Tundra is probably the best truck out there IMO but I just couldn't rationalize paying another $15K for it... Great truck but a little too pricey.

My family has always driven Ford trucks and vans so I definitely took a hard took at the F-150's and boy are they everywhere so you can really be picky and get exactly what you want. Aftermarket is very easy to get parts and custom's so if your gonna make it a lifted custom with 35's and all the bells and whistles I would probably go with a Ford. Personally I really liked the ford but the power felt very sluggish and I actually thought it was a V6... So for me that was a big deal and considering the comparable trucks I wanted was Ford was around 22K, so not for me.

For starters Nissan's big new truck came out in 04 and I was immediately was impressed with the look so thats +1. After test driving every truck out there the Nissan had a great balance between a smooth ride and a classic truck feel. The cab seemed very roomie and the truck felt good strong size but not too big like every other truck out there (except the toyota), but drove smaller then you would expect. Some guys might like a big drive but I really prefer the Nissans easy to drive truck that seems very manageable. The power shot you right out of the gate with the most impressive throttle response of them all giving you the impression that you should take this baby to the track! It instills a lot of confidence as it shifts fast and smoothly through the gears just what I like! Now the payload and towing capacity are at the top of it's class +3, and boy are there a bunch of extra features that really made a big difference to me! Like the factory spray-in bed liner, track tie down system, side fender storage, tow mode, dual climate control, heated seats/mirrors, auto dimming mirrors, fold up and down rear seats, navigation/DVD, power everything, tire pressure monitor, power moon roof... I could go on and on but the bottom line is Nissan has great attention to detail and it really shows!

So I was patient and found my 2006 Nissan Titan Crew Cab LE 4X2, Utility Bed Package, Tow Package, Navigation/DVD, extended 100,000 warranty, Shell all this for $15,500! WOW!

this is only an OK truck it is not as quite and refined as a new Ford or Chev it did however get good fuel economy almost 20 mile per gallon on my 2500 mile journey home the seats are very soft and on long trips uncomfortable the only reason I bought this truck was the price but for this kind of money I could not buy the same Ford I think all in all its a good truck for the money no regrets

I love this truck! My first one so I looked at everything out there and compared features, benefits and design. Since I had no plans to use it as a work truck, it was important that I could use it for everyday use and transporting my kids and their stuff. It does all that with style.
As an additional bonus, I found it to be an excellent commuter. Commuter? (you say) Yes. In the SF Bay Area you sometimes are taking your life in your hands with a small putt-putt car. With this truck, you can cruise along safely without any worry. In fact, it is somewhat intimidating without even trying.
Because it was the first year, Nissan had its share of recalls and adjustments. The local dealer was terrific at handling these and fixing them without a hassle.
Lots of room for people, kids, stuff, tools etc within the crew cabin. Back seat is very comfortable and roomy too.
Have not used the 4x4 but imagine it helps with resale value. Kids are always trying to borrow it to go to Tahoe.
Unlike some trucks or SUV's, it has a great ride at cruising speed, except on the roughest roads. RPMs are very low so there is lots of power instantly available.

I traded an '04 Tundra for '06 Titan 4x4, as Tundra lacked the power to pull camping trailer that I brought home. Like the Tundra, the Titan suspension is a little light for 9000 lbs.+, but the strength of the Titan power train is EXCELLENT. In 28,000 miles I have had 0 problems. The Titan was also a better value for the money spent. After being a Toyota man for 20+ years, I think I have switched for good!

Have owned Titan for 4yrs. Has been a great truck. I bought because it had so much leg room in back seat because have kids and dog. We would take trips and dog would lay in floor board and still have room to stretch out. Power is always there when I need it. Gas mileage could be better but that comes with having the power. I replaced the battery a few months ago. Change oil every 3-4K miles and air filter K&N. Have around 56K miles on it. Had brakes done @ 11k miles via factory recall. I need to have rotors turned I feel a little shimmy. Have hauled a yard of dirt no problem and hauled a palate of grass no problem. My wife drives and loves the sound of the mufflers.

2004 Nissan Titan: Overall I think this is a great truck for the money

I have owned my Nissan Titan for about 4 years now. I give it very good markes because for the money I don't think they make a better truck. Sure you can spend more money on a truck, but for the price this truck gives you plenty of power, options, etc. I marked it down on Qualitly because they could have done a little better in 04. They had a recall on the seatbelt, antenna, and brakes. So if you are buying a used one, make sure it has had the warrenty work done. You can look up the affected Vins at http://www.nissanusa.com/

Overall I think this is a great truck and it has run like a champ since day one. I reccomend Nissan and Toyota to anyone that would like to a solid truck at a decent price.

Thanks,
