Nissan Maxima

I've had my max for about 6 years so far. Mine is far from stock but i'll write this based on the way these cars are from the factory. For the amount of money you can pick one of these cars up for now its a no brainer. Engines are very strong, very quiet and overall reliable. If your looking at a manual transmission be sure its been well taken care of, clutch is good and theres no unusual whining noises from the transmission. Most models have heated seats in cloth and leather. and if they dont the cars come pre wired for them so you can put heated seat in later on. The comfort and ride is very nice and silent on these cars. Exterior styling is also pretty nice, Not completly out of date yet. Handling is just OK due to the "sport bar" nissan used in the rear. If your into modding then this car is a perfect start, stock vs stock it should beat just about all imports in its price range. Its def. a car i'd recomend to others

Bought the car off ebay woth 103K it had 20 inch rims and was well taken care of, I also bought it for the power, 255 HP very fast car, I was impressed with the handling and the smooth ride it provided, it had suede seats, sunroof, 20 inch rims, paint was excellent, interior was excellent and I couldnt have gotten a better deal.

With this being my first time owning a Maxima I really did not know much about the car other than it looked nice, the CONS to the vehicle, is the fuel consumption, I have averaged nearly 20-22 MPG in the city and highway, and when I first filled it up it cost nearly $58.00 from zero to full, at $3.76 a gallon. You may have heard this one before too, but the turn radius not that good either, you will need a three lane road to make a U turn.

Other than these two things the car is good, you will love it and I would recommend it for the stule comfort and performance, but if you do buy one make sure you get the 255HP it can out run the Acura Type S, BMW's etc and the zero to 60 is in the mid 6's.

I love the low mileage that the car had. It only had 139 thousand miles. The car runs really good and is very smooth on the highway. I am glad I purchased it.

I purchased my 1998 Nissan Maxima as a used vehicle about 3 1/2 years ago. It has been a very comfortable and reliable car. It now has almost 105,000 miles (not too bad considering it is now basically 11 years old) and has been an excellent car to drive and I have been very happy with it. I recently had to replace the brakes, and get some front end work done along with replacing the tires/alignment and normal maintenance. I had thought about trading the Maxima in for a new car. However, I decided to spend a few hundred dollars on the Maxima to keep from having a car payment. With the recent work done, I have a feeling this car will last me for many years to come with no car payment! This is my second Nissan (my first was a brand new Nissan Frontier(pickup) and I have been extremely happy with the Nissan brand both times.

Car was suppose to be like now, it was not even close. Damage on front and rear. Very dirty and dents front and rear. The sellar is truley a very good salesman. The car was not detailed and the not ready to be picked up. Tires are shot.

good car it had few very small problems like a slight belt squeel and the sprayer for the window cleaner did not work but other then that it is great
