Mini Classic Mini

i like the styling of it it handles great prety comfortable for a small car and good on gas besides the trailer gives it a life of its own

I chose to purchase a "classic" Mini Cooper because of the wonderful character these cars have. The original Minis are without doubt one of the most iconic (and dare I say "happy") automobiles produced. Having retained the same body style from 1959 until 2000, the Minis achieved many vivid years of history.

I am overall quite satisfied with my 1975 Mini Cooper. Unsurprisingly, especially since the car has some age on it, there were a few reliability issues to be resolved but luckily nothing major. It was probably comparable to other vintage cars, and I don't think Minis are by nature any more problematic than any other older car.

I recommend to perspective original Mini buyers to take a close look at components such as the fan belt and the fuse box/electrical contacts, for these needed to be replaced on my specific car. I also suggest choosing the newest and/or best condition Mini that you can afford rather than settling with a less expensive yet perhaps more risky car.

In terms of driving and performance, the car is excellent and brings a smile to my face every time I get behind the wheel. Furthermore, people really seem to enjoy seeing it on the road. Don't be fooled with the car's size when it comes to comfort or ability to smoothly drive along the interstate; the Mini is fine under both accounts.

To summarize, I am happy with my original Mini and my purchase experience on eBay. Although it requires some attention, the car is nothing less than a joy to own because it has real character. If you also enjoy "motoring" and don't mind the upkeep an older Mini may require, I say go for it and enjoy the ride!

As a Mini enthusiast I would love to rate it a 5 but the reality is when you buy a classic car you have to know that it is not going to be perfect. Minis were never perfect, so I can not rate it a 5. This one however, is in great condition and with all Minis, it has it quirks. That is to be expected, especially a car whose technology has not changed much since 1959.
That being said, this car is what I exactly what I expected it to be. I suspected that this car is not actually one of the last of the 500's but a mock up that was built to look just like one when it was in England, before the person who sold it to me bought it. I had this suspicion based on my knowledge and research before I placed a bid. It is important to know what you are looking for and to do the research before placing a bid. For this particular year and model of Mini, I received a fair price for it as did the seller. No regrets here.
Since this car was already restored to such a great condition, I now only have to stock up on the hard to find parts to keep her going for the years of enjoyment I plan on having with her.

I've owned an aweful lot of vehicles over the years & this is the only one i've had that I can't wipe the smile off my face when I drive it. I prefer it to my corvette, that i find amazing.

I was looking specifically for a classic Mini Cooper and this one seemed to stand out. The auction had lots of pictures which not only describe (visually) the car (important when you cannot inspect the car in person prior to the end of the auction), it also demonstrates that the seller has nothing to hide. This gave me alot of confidence in the seller. I feel this is especially essential in a "big Ticket" item.

great car. exacly what I was looking for. I am restoring it to show room condition. Mininmal rust and very little body work needed. Engine is great as will.

car would be good if i recived it i like little cars but it never came price was good but deposit was lost

This car fits my needs perfectly. this is the largest car a person can have on Catalina Island. The car is in great shape and runs good!
