What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

From the first day we owned this vehicle, it has been nothing short of wonderful. Fit and finish is second to none I have ever owned. Interior is very comfortable and quiet with great visibility all around. Performance is outstanding for a 3.3. Fuel mileage is 25 city and 29 to 32 highway. This vehicle has been very reliable in the 11,000 miles we have owned it, and this is in the North Dakota cold !

The car is used primarily for commuting to work for my wife, 33 miles each way, and she hates to drive, but has not had even one complaint about the car performance or drivability in our cold climate. It has standard ABS and Traction control.

I would be able to tell anyone that this is a very pleasant car to operate and easy to maintain.

It has good looks with alloy wheels and OEM Michelin tires.
The only service problem with the car was a faulty O2 sensor which was covered under warranty.

This is our second Hyundai car, which should speak well for our satisfaction with the brand quality.

This is a very reliable car. Hyundai has come a long way with their vehicles. This is my third Sonata and they just keep getting better. The two older ones are still running strong. The Sonatas handle well, drive well, perform well, etc. There's really nothing bad to say about them. Once you go Hyundai, you'll never go back. Buy One; or more...

2002 Hyundai Sonata: A clunker...

Like anything you buy on Ebay, a bargain is not necessarily always a bargain. What I didn't bargain on was the engine needing to be replaced after less than 3 weeks of owning this vehicle and less than 500 miles from purchase. All belts looked to have been recently replaced and I "assumed" (you know what they say about "assuming"!) the timing belt had been replaced... well, you guessed it, it wasn't and the engine died when the belt went.

This was the second purchase from this seller, so I don't necessarily fault the seller; 1st experience was a good one so I "assumed" the 2nd would also be, but hasn't been. I was offered and extended warranty at time of purchase but had declined...shoulda, coulda, woulda.

2003 Hyundai Sonata: How eBay doesn't stand behind thier buyers

I like the fact that you can find products all over the country at a fast rate.

I dislike how eBay allows dishonest people to sell products. People that can lie and say whatever they want to in order to sell a product and then eBay doesn't stand behind the buyer. Nothing seems to be covered and it is nobodies fault.

The matter of fact is that eBay has a lot more sellers then buyers and without the buyers eBay doesn't exist. They should stand behind their buyers a little more.

call me if you want to know why I am so entrusting of the help that the Office of the President "offers" so us that have a bad experience.

2003 Hyundai Sonata: World class car: The Sonata

The 2003 Hyundai Sonata is a great car if your goal is to get from A to B comfortably, reliably and cost effectively. I recommend getting the V6 engine (28 HW / 22 CTY) but the 4 cyl engine is peppy enough for some areas but I wouldn't feel comfortable driving in NY or Chicago without a V6.

The reliability of these cars is excellent. Having owned 7 of them (company cars) I guarantee if you change the oil & do the maintenace as instructed, you'll get to 150,000 miles before anything big breaks. The 2008 Sonata has a lot more comfort features but the price has gotten so high now, I think Hyundai is losing their focus on the "average family car".

Anyway, Sonata years 1999-2007 get EXTREMELY high marks from me!

2008 Hyundai Sonata: Always spend the little bit of money to CarFax. ALWAYS

I bought brand new from the dealer because great deals typically have hidden tricks such as being in an accident and the info not being honestly disclosed. Always buck up the little amount of money for a CarFax report.

As for the 2009 Hyundai Sonata...Performance etc...is as I rated above. Highly recommended vehichle and oustanding value for the price.

I bought that car used last year and I'm quite satisfied with it. It goes front point A to B and it doesn't cost a lot in repairs and gas. I fact, I never had any mechanical issues with it other than regular maintenance. This is were the good part end. My car is the 4 cylinder model, the performance is honestly bad and the fuel consumption goes trough the roof after 120 km/h (80 mph), the quality of the parts of the car is weak. I installed a new mp3 radio and the dash was a pain to disassemble without breaking the small plastic clip and when I finally removed the dash, the electric system was holding together with... electric tape!

Certainly, if you are looking for a car that goes from point "A" to "B" that is relatively cheap to buy and maintain, I would definitively recommend it but don't try to invest a lot in this car, just keep it clean.

Great car for the money. Looked at Chevy, Honda, Saturn and Ford before buying a Hyundai. These cars are sleepers. They handle OK, but their engines are very strong and will out perform any in its class. The factory must underrate the hp because they seem much stronger than they are rated. Fit and finish is much better than just a few years ago and you cant beat the options for the money. The car I bought is an 08 and has a power roof, tilt, cruise, power windows, automatic, computer and satellite radio and I paid less than 13K. Look out US auto makers as these cars just keep getting better.

We'd been looking for something to replace an old klunker that would be safe and would relieve us from having the drive the miniwan all the time. This is the perfect car for that. Good gas mileage (which is SO important these days), reliable, comfortable back seat for the kids, and safe for everyone.

I've been driving this car for three weeks now and I'm happy with it so far. First and foremost, I think it is the best value for my money. All the side airbags, mp3 CD player, dual exhaust, ABS and ESC comes standard at no extra charge. It may look a bit plain and simple but I think its clean lines will age gracefully. All the controls are at the right places. The V6 and transmission performance is very good. It produces more power than I'll ever need. The brakes are extremely smooth like an extension of my body and give me a sense of safety and control. The interior is very quite and the ride on freeways is comfortable. The seat provides good support and driving position is good. I got 26 mpg with a city/hwy mix of 20/80 using the old fashion method of dividing miles by gallons of gas to fill up, but the trip computer reports 23mpg. The rest are things I don't like: The plastic interior is on the cheap side. The steering is a tad heavy compared to my old Toyota Avalon. The suspension is not always good. On some road surfaces it feels busy and the tires thump too hard. Overall it has a bouncy feel. On a good road it rides really good. It is a well put together car and no defect that I can see so far.
