What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Love it all! Lots of room up front for my 6'3" husband. Decent gas mileage, enough cargo space for our needs, enough room in rear seats.

Wish it had adjustable lumbar support in the front seats.
Not too impressed with the front cup holders. A minor.

It didn't come with a CD player,:~(, but I guess I can add one later.

We decided to buy it after driving my son's '97 CRV that has 235,500 miles on it! It had also been in a fender bender and all I did was replace one wheel, realign it, bought new tires, and had a tune-up. My son and I both are hard on vehicles and his CRV is starting to show a little wear in the transmission, but that is after much abuse, I'm sure. It sometimes slips w/ a little clunk during excelleration.

2003 Honda CR-V: Mixed feelings

We had a mixed experience with the purchase of this car.

Due to busy schedules and a last minute flight cancellation, we didn't pick up the car until about four weeks after the successful bidding. During this time, our interactions with the seller were positive and accommodating. Once we finally got to the Detroit, the car was in good shape, clean and in good working order There were some obvious scratches on the front left from a fender bender that were not obvious in the pictures posted on the web site. The brake light in the back window was disconnected and not working, but otherwise our inspection did not reveal any major problems. The car also only came with one key and no manual. We were astonished that the car had been driven an additional 1000 miles in between the down payment and the pick up. The seller offered to reimburse us for $250 down payment to make up for the increased mileage and the missing key.

We drove the car from Detroit to Colorado without any trouble. Shortly before entering Colorado, the 'check engine' light came on. We took the car to a Honda shop the next day and the mechanic found that a carbon cannister located in the left rear area under the car had been removed. Several hoses and electrical connectors were wrapped around the car frame and left unconnected. According to the mechanic, the carbon cannister had been removed as the brackets, bolts skid plate, valves and cannister and all associated bolts were taken off. The cannister vents the fuel tank back to the intake manifold.

Since the engine check light can be turned off by the computer reader, we have to assume that this was done before we picked up the car. The computer 'check engine' light came back on after the car was driven for a certain number of miles.

When we contacted the seller and were told that they had not been aware of the problem during their inspection and when we purchased the car. They also stressed that we bought the car "as is" and that they felt no responsible for the condition of this car.

We had the car repaired and by using used parts rather we were able to keep the cost below $1000. Nevertheless, we felt that we were sold a car that was not in working condition since without this vent system, the car did not meet EPA requirements and would not have passed the CO emission inspection.

My Honda Crv has 135k. Runs GREAT. I use it to transport an 80lb machine in the back and other times drive around with 4 ppl loaded in. Seats everyone comfortably. I have had no problems for the 18 months I've owned. Would recommend this to anyone and know I'm looking for another for my wife.

I was initially interested in the New Jersey State Auto Auction because of the pricing on the cars. After meeting with Paul one of their salepeople, I bought the CRV because of their great service. I had a small problem with car right after I purchased it but the customer service dept was excellent. The girl was super nice and very helpful, I believe her name was Crystal. Overall, I was very happy with my purchase from the New Jersey State Auto Auction.

The Honda CR-V is a good mix of performance, economy, excellent roominess in the cabin and cargo area, and the quality has been excellent. For being a four cylinder engine the CR-V has good power going up hills, the steering is very precise, although my wife thought it was a little too stiff, the suspension is very responsive and has the feeling of a sedan more than an suv, the brakes are excellent in the sense that there is very little effort needed to stop. I commute everyday 240 miles and have averaged 25 mpg loaded with gear and three 200+ lbs men, I think that is pretty good for such a small vehicle. It is also very roomy our carpool carries 6 large duffles of gear and it all fits nicely. The one guy that almost always rides in the back is 6'4" and he thinks its roomy enough, we all have plenty of shoulder room as well as legroom. I believe this is a good choice for anyone that needs a good commuter that delivers decent fuel economy, comfort, and performance and it looks good and has good quality parts that you can see and feel.

It's a good dependable and so far reliable car/small suv. The only dis-appointment is the cruise control does not work which when we take it out for a long run sure would be nice to have. So I have to get that looked at. The dealer we bought it from on eBay was wonderful and everything else good except for this one item - he did not call me back when I called him within an hour of picking the CRV up and driving home telling him about the cruise not working. I think they should have known about and disclosed this. Other that that, the hood is weathered and isn't the prettiet but the car itself is really great all things considered. That's about it - we hope to get a couple of good years out of it.

1999 Honda CR-V: An SUV with a Conscience

The CR-V is tops. An SUV that's socially responsible and makes you feel less guilty about owning one. Economical, roomy, and reliable, easy to drive. Although it is 9 years old, this particular one has extremely low miles (75K) and has been well maintained by its previous owner. The CR-V's design was revolutionary when introduced in 1997 and its design concept is especially applicable in today's era of high fuel prices and environmental awareness.
It's ride can be a little jittery when lightly loaded and its road noise level can be an issue especially at freeway speeds. The interior is well thought using quality materials throughout and its size makes it a snap to park.

I chose the CRV because I had considered it a long time....test drove some at dealers, fuel efficient small SUV...with capability of hauling some larger items...nursery stock, antiques, etc.
I like the design aesthetics, functionality, ex: rear door operation,

I bought a new CRV in 2003. I have driven it 90,000 miles. I love the comfortable seats. They fit me. I like the position of the gear shift. I like the emergency brake being where I can see it. I like the quality of the sound the door makes when you close it. You never have to "slam a door". I love that the vehicle has been totally dependable for 5 years. When I buy another car it will be a Honda.

Like the Honda quality and craftsmanship that we have come to expect from other Honda purchase.
Like the surprising performance from a small four cylinder engine with good mileage makes the more fuel effecient engine comfortable to drive either on the hiway, or in traffic.
Love the sun roof, as with our previous Honda purchase, that ALWAYS works, and NEVER leaks!!!
