What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

2005 Honda Accord: Bang for the Buck

I have been in Germany for 3 years of my life and driving BMW 3 series and Benz C class. When I got back to the US in 2005 I decided to buy myself a new car. Now after considerable amount of research, I decided to buy a HOnda Accord EX V6. This is the top end model in Honda Sedans and matches BMW 330 series and is way better than the 325 series.
The 325 series comes in 184Bhp and 330 series comes with 235 bhp where as the accord V6 is 242Bhp. The costs are:
BMW 325 series : $30000 - $39000
BMW 330 series : $35000 - $44000
What I paid for my Honda Accord EX V6: 27000 (after a lot of bargaining, i got 4000 off on the showroom price). This price includes all the goodies

Now I decided its not worth spending an extra $10000 for features like a beep once you cross 75mph etc. BMW is definitely a status car no doubt, but I think the accord V6 EX is a practical car. If you want sheer pickup and speed, dont buy the 4 cylinder model. A lot of people feel that its similar to V6. No way, I have driven both versions. The V6 will literally fly if it had wings :-)

The car also comes loaded with features like 6 cd changer, leather seats, seat heating and much much more. What I probably feel could be improved is the AC. The car is relatively bigger than the BMW. Theres plently of room in the back. But the AC is not powerful enough for the people sitting behind to feel comfortable on a very hot day. Especially last summer in california when the temp went up to 110 degrees.

So overall if you want a fast good looking and comfortable car for a reasonable price, the Accord V6 EX is a great buy

2006 Honda Accord: 2006 Honda Accord 4-door LX

Background: This was our second Honda car. It was equipped with the 2.4L four cyclinder and automatic transmission. I owned the car for 3 months and put 10,000 miles on the odometer.

Performance: The 2.4L engine, rated at 166 HP, is on par with competitors in the acceleration dept. My particular model would run 0-60 in 9 seconds, which is decent and good enough for all but the most demanding drivers. The engine is very smooth. In fact, I don't think I've experienced a smoother, more refined engine. I averaged 34-35 MPG on the highway and 26-27 in town--my overall MPG was 28.1, but I drove about 50% of the time on the highway.

Reliability: N/A. I didn't own the car long enough to comment accurately on this, but I'd expect reliability to be sterling, as it the case with just about all vehicles Honda manufacturers.

Comfort: Comfortable on the highway, but coarse pavement produced more interior noise than I'd like. I attribute this to a slight disadvantage in sound proofing versus the Camry and to lower profile tires (16 inch vs. 15 inch rims). Interior room was good for front seat passengers and good for rear seat riders, provided they were less than 6 feet tall.

Quality and Craftsmanship: The Accord felt very taut overall and solid. This is a rather subjective observation, but I couldn't find anything to fault Honda on in this regard, which is not unusual.

Overall: A great family car and perhaps the most fun to drive of the family sedans. Performance is good, comfort is high, the car should run several hundred thousand miles on minimal maintenance... I only traded in the Accord because I was short a truck, and, unfortunately, the Accord does not have a bed.

I have a 2005 Honda Accord LX- and I love it! It is by far, the best car money can buy! You never have to worry about a Honda breaking down on the highway! Reliable & economical! When it was time to look for a car, I was trading my *other car in for practically pennies! Hondas were the only cars I would consider! I love the car now, and I KNOW I will when it comes time to trade it in too!!

i've only heard great things about the honda accord so thought I would pick one that had been taken good care of. Maybe it was or maybe it wasn't... the seller had recently changed brakes and the slight jerk to the right when you step on the brake was attributed to that. However that wasn't the problem. I took it into Honda to be repaired and after spending over 800.00 on it they have not been able to figure out the problem. I would NOT purchase this item again if given the choice. And certainly would think twice about buying a car online where the seller claims he is a certified mechanic!

This is a nice, small luxury car. Purchased at 32000 miles used. Handles well. Gets ~35 miles per gallon in combination trip plus city driving - 1500 miles. Had problem with interior noise - but Honda has that figure out now and parts have been ordered by local dealer to fix.

I bought a V-6 Accord 2 door Coupe last year and must say it's the best decision I've ever made! I love my Honda! It handles so well and feels like riding in a sports car but much roomier. I love the seats. They wrap around you, so you feel very secure while driving. My car has every option including Navigation. Which I have no clue how I lived w/o this all my life!! I am so pleased with this car and my husband loves it too. At first, he refused to buy an "import" car, but once he took it for a test drive he was sold! Anyone who has ever driven my car has said how wonderful it handles. The gas mileage is pretty good for a 6 cylinder, I get over 400 miles on the interstate and 320 in the city. I would highly recommend this car and if you are considering a small sporty car, this is the one. I've had this car for over a year and it has never been in the shop, other than regular servicing (i.e. oil changes, tires) I was given a 4 door Accord once when my car was being serviced and must say I would never want the 4 door version. It was the typical "family" car with regular seats and nothing fancy. My Accord was much much nicer than that version. Either way, Hondas are good cars for a reason, they run til the wheels fall off and I'm so happy to own one :)

I really have liked my car since I bought it in July 2001. I get about 26-28 on the highway with the ac pumping all the way. I love its quiet smooth ride. BUT I do have my problems with it. I hate how if it just sprinkles a little the water will come right in even if the window is cracked. Also the trunk will drain all the water that was on top after a good rain, right into the trunk when opened.I dont like how thin the body metal is. My seats are splitting right at the stitch on the bump of the seat as you get in. Honda has replaced the drivers seat once,Under warranty, but 4 yrs later it is splitting again. I also had the runners on the driver seat replaced 2 times because of the seat shifting.Warranty again. I now have rust on the drivers door at the top rail right above the window. I recently gave it to Honda for the routine maintanance it needed after 7 yrs that should have been done after 3-4 yrs. Here is the list: Transmission =free replacement warranty recall,Brake fluid and brake pads,SRS indicator =Free warranty recall,Timing belt, water pump/radiator flush and drive belts, oil change and alignment. And last but not least the broken motor mount I had been driving on for probably 5 yrs. All this cost me about $1475.00 BUT This is the 1st time in 7 yrs it ever went in for mechanical work. I do have to hand it to Honda though, They gave me another 7 yr extended warranty on the transmission. The service was Outstanding. I do have to admit that the water pump didnt need to be replaced, But it is cheaper to do it when they do the timing belt. Notice!! The water pump they took off and gave back at my request looked like it had come straight out of the box. After 7 yrs not a spot of rust or wear, even though the fluid was the original factory antifreeze. I know you cant do that with an american car. I used to own the junk we put out. I will be a Honda customer for life at this point. The work I had done sounds pretty extensive but considering I have only replaced tires once, battery 1 time and oil. That is it. I never added brake fluid or coolant once the whole 7 yrs, I never had to!! I will admit the handling is not that of my old 300zx but its not a sports car either. If I had to do it all over again I would still buy this car. I would have bought used instead of new because of depreciation but knowing the maintanance record makes me feel better. I paid 26,200 new with spoiler and tinted windows and mud guards. If you can get a low mileage with the transmission already replaced buy it!!! You wont regret it.

I only bought the car a short time ago so I don't have a long history with it, but I loooove the way it drives! Excellent handling and power - You just feel like you're in total control. From what I've heard, the 4 cyl. is a little sluggish - the V6 Rocks! And with Honda's reliability rep, I expect to enjoy it for many years to come. mpg seems good - I'm guessing in the mid-20s. Me likey!

35/38 mpg, 4 cyl. yet still has some power. Gas mileage is the reason for purchase but it looks very nice anyway.
