What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I like this vehicle. Even though the body isn't the greatest, the car needs little mechanical work.

The previous owner kept good records.

2004 Dodge Stratus: Car came with clear title. Rebuilt title sticker on car

Car seems to run well. The bleached out floor cover will have to be replaced and was not mentioned at all in the advertisement. The drivers door is badly damaged and will have to be repaired or replaced. Ad said it only had minor dings. Hood is damaged and will have to be repaired or replaced and was not mentioned. The trunk lid is off a Chrysler Sebring/not a dodge & still has Sebring emblyn. When front tag was removed, one of the screws was forced and tore the bumper. Both back floor mats were apparently in the car when bleaching agent was spilled and are bleached out too. Although a good title was sent with the car, it has two rebuilt stickers on it. One is on the windshild and one is on the left back door opening. None of this was in ad!!!!

Excellent drive! Feel of a nice sports car, has balls for a 3.0 V6. Crashed mine twice and still drove great after repairs. Very safe and reliable.

I have had this car for several days now and I love to drive it. The car had 79,000 miles on it when I bought it. The V6 engine is a must! It is not a comfortable as my Nissan Altima, but that is okay seeing as this is my secondary vehicle. The ride is very smooth, and the V6 engine is very smooth. The car sits low so it is a little hard to get into being 6' 3". I like the option of the flexfuel, but there are no gas stations that sell it yet! It will take regular gasoline so problem solved. The inside of the car is not high quality, but that is not much of a concern to me. It is a very sporty looking car! Overall I love to drive this vehicle.

2004 Dodge Stratus: Better than the rest, I wish they still made it!

Pros:
Even with the 2.4L 4 cylinder the car has good pickup and the handling is among the best I have driven in this price range. Good road noise and pothole isolation. It has a trunk large enough to put just about anything in, and the struts that hold the trunk lid up give you more room as opposed to traditional hinges. Comfortable seats for long drives, good support and the seats are adjustable in many different ways. Maintenance is easy. I like the sport shift mode when you put the gear selector in "3", though some might like an autostick feature better. Even base model sound system is good with the tape player (though who plays tapes anymore?). Great winter traction despite the low stance of the car. Delivers 26-27 mpg in normal 50% city/50% highway driving without me being careful. Can achieve well over 30 mpg on the freeway.

Cons:
No map lights, and the only switch for the overhead light is on the turn signal stalk (weird). Also, the part of the dash that runs on the left side of the radio tends to be in the same spot as my right knee wants to be. A simple seat readjustment fixes this though. The ride can be a little springy going over really bumpy roads. I've had some minor problems- a power window regulator and the alternator were replaced, and the wind stripping above the windshield came loose, but they were no big deal to fix.

In summation:
This is a great car, I only wish they still made it. For the price, it can't be beat. I bought this car for $7240 with 53k miles at the end of January. No way you'll get a comparable Camry or Accord for that kind of money. I don't really see the advantage of a Camry or Accord when you can pay so much less for the Stratus. Honestly, I don't understand the whole Toyota-worshipping thing that seems to go on these days, the Stratus rides better and quieter than the Toyota-designed Pontiac Vibe I drove, as well as my cousin's former Scion xB.

This car is a joy to drive !! It's so unusual to find a 4 door with a 5 speed in it. We now use this car to go most anywhere, and let the 2004 Stratus stay at home - it's an automatic. Comfort is great, mileage is great, and I just can't say anything bad about this car.

I love my Dodge Stratus. This is my second one. My first one was a 2002 Stratus Sedan R/T. I put 80,000 miles on it. Only thing I had to do to it was breaks, tires, and oil changes. My second one is a 2004 stratus coupe R/T. It is the best car that I've ever owned/driven. From Escorts to Mustangs, from Jeeps to Rams, this car is next to perfect. The only negative thing I have to say about it is the chrome on the emblems, in both cars faded after a few years. I replaced them, I purchased new ones on Ebay for about 5 bucks. Other than that, very very pleased with my cars.

I was looking for a car for my daughter and had seen several imports locally. Most of them looked like 10year old POS's that were twice what I bough this car for. I've done a lot of business on Ebay and took a look. The car was everything I was looking for. American made, so I can work on it, if needed. Garage Kept, so it looked like a new car, not a 10 year old beater. Forthright seller, that disclosed everything about the cars history and communicated everything to a tee. Local to me, car was 140 miles from my home, in Florida that's considered "local". Lastly the price, it was fair, to the point of being too good to be true. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, it was everything I expected and more. My daughter loves the car and it has functioned without a problem. I would recommend this means of car purchasing to anyone and have to several coworkers.

Thanks You
