What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

The car is essentially as advertised, though I would never say something simply is running rough when it barely can travel 1/2 a mile without breaking down. The rough part comes from only 5 of 6 cylinders performing...It will take longer, and cost me more than the 1000 purchase price; 500 towing rental, to get this thing in shape.

I bought the car for my dad. He had one when he was younger, but my mom crashed it into a light pole totaling the car out. We have not seen another one until now.

1973 Dodge Dart: 73 Dart 4-door sedan

This is actually the third Dart I have owned. It's no speed demon, nor does it handle with precision. However, with the slant six engine and Torqueflite transmission it will run forever as long as you keep fluids in it. Based on past experience I expect high 20's on the highway and around 16 mpg in town. These cars are built solid and have a surprisingly large interior. This car had the optional interior which has a bench seat with individual backrests and a pull-down arm rest on the front. The trunk is huge. All of the common maintenance parts are still available from parts houses like Auto Zone or O'Reilly's. Chrysler still has a few parts in inventory, but unless you have the part number the dealers aren't very helpful. These are the reasons I bought the car. The power steering is numb and extremely light to the touch. This car has drum brakes on all four wheels. They tend to grab. Disk brakes are preferred. The Achilles heel of cars this age are the tendency of the floor pans to rust through. Small perforation holes are the norm. These are easily fixed. Not so easy are the big holes you can put your hand through. If you can personally inspect before you bid, do so. Make this a strong recommendation if you are not prepared to deal with this problem.

1969 Dodge Dart: 1969 Dodge Dart GTS 340

I love this car! Need proof? I've owned it since 1972 (I'm the second owner). The 340 is the "mini hemi", one of the best engines Chrysler ever built. It came from the factory already hopped up. 10.5/1 pistons, big valve heads, dual point ignition, and cast iron headers, 10.5 inch clutch, and 8 3/4 rearend. Put gas in it and rock and roll. I've blown away 100's of big blocks over the years with this car. I've never broke a drivetrain part in all these years, and I race it with slicks. This car runs 13.88 @ 100 mph in the quarter mile, 8.90 @ 80 mph in the 1/8th, and it's stock! It gets 16 mpg. Built back when they actually put some metal in the body. The value of these cars is skyrocketing, because the E and B body cars are way overpriced, and the performance is the same or better with the A body cars. Buy one today!

1975 Dodge Dart: 1975 Dodge Dart 'Hang Ten Edition'

I bought this car as a driver and as a project to restore. Great lines comfortable seats and great sound. The interior is unique and its a blast to drive.

The 318 is a little sluggish for my taste, but it is quite powerful and has good throttle response. It would have been better if this was a manual but they just didn't make too many as manuals, which are very hard to find.

This car was purchased to put a smile on my face for any commutes and it has not disappointed. Decent gas mileage for its age/type.

Overall I love this car and would certainly consider buying another Dart/Duster/Demon in the future for a hot rod project. We get lots of looks, questions and 'thumbs up' when we drive it around town!

I like the way the Dart A body looks and drives. The 340 is, I think the best motor Mopar made, The only thing I would change is the long trunk other than that I think The Dart is a nice 70's car for shows or daily driving.

1967 Dodge Dart: Luv my `67 Dart !

I've owned my 1967 Dodge Dart since about 1974. I'm the second owner. I totally trust my old Dart. Never has let me down. I've let her sit in the yard for up to three years in a row and a simple jump on the battery and we're off and running again. This car was built in America when America knew how to build a car. She might not be the most desirable car from that era, but she's put together properly.

YOU SHOULD BUY ONE ! Seriously -- The old Chevy's and Mustangs are way overpriced. Don't you agree? You can put yourself into an old Dart for less than $4000. That is most excellent, indeed !

These cars are one of Chrysler's (Mopar, Dodge) best. They are solid performers, comparatively safe to drive and easy to repair/restore! They are reasonably trouble free, too. And, they look great! Parts are normally available and many of the parts will interchange with several years and other models (Valiant, etc.) . Have fun, restore and drive a 63, 64, 65, or 66 Dodge Dart!
