What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

1996 Buick Roadmaster: A whole lot of car and E85 Too!

I own a couple of these vehicles and I have had several over the years... both Wagons & Sedans. The 1996 Roadmaster is a superb vehicle. Very comfortable, powerful & nimble for it's size. Unfortunately, my cars have suffered damage in parking lots and in traffic... such is modern life. Fortunately, the Wagon shares many cosmetics with the Chevy Impala & Caprice and is easier/cheaper to get replacement body parts for than the Sedan. I live in Colorado and run these year round. The Anti-lock Brakes are wonderful! Granted... I do put studded snow tires at all four corners! They get excellent mileage and are cost effective to maintain. I have a lead foot so I only get about 22 MPG on Regular Unleaded Gasoline. Fortunately for my wallet, these vehicles are easily converted to accept E85 Ethanol Fuel. With Gasoline prices nearing the $3 mark, this is a very good conversion as it allows you to run E85 or Gasoline or ANY COMBINATION OF THE TWO! We currently get E85 here for $1.99 per gallon and the State is discussing lowering the price (through subsidies) to $1.50 per gallon! SWEET! If you would like to know more about the conversion, email me at miltruck@mindspring.com and I will provide information on what I have done. It works on many vehicles and on several model years of the of mid-90's Roadmaster, Caprice, Impala, Fleetwood GM Platform. It works on 4, 6 & 8 cylinder EFI US & Japanese Vehicles like Hondas, Toyotas & Nissans. I have 8,000 miles on my 1996 Roadmaster Wagon running E85 and it performs flawlessly! It has over 104,000 miles on the vehicle. It is really nice to drive a large powerful car that is fuel efficient AND environmentally friendly (when running on E85)! Thanks for the bandwidth, just my $0.02 worth. ;-)

What i like about my 1992 Roadmaster Limited is that it is a buick. Also a one owner, garaged kept, and only 94K miles at time of purchase. I have four in my family therefore it is roomy enough to give great comfort, also good on gas and every electrical component works including cruise control. It has everything but the kitchen sink. As to why i purchased it there were great pictures on this vehicle and the bidding price i could'nt let it get away, also i were in the market for a Buick Roadmaster at $2800.00 i could resell it for $3500.00 for the condition it's in.

what i like about this car is it gets pretty good gas mileage for a larger car i get like 23 miles a gal on my last tank full (holds 23 gal but i used 21 after the fill up and got 475 miles and also it has a plastic gas tank no worries on rust at least.

Seems to be built fairly well not alot of rust at the seems like alot of gm cars do (ford protects their cars lots better the GM does)

It has 200,000 miles on it and i would bet you can get almost 300,00 miles out of this car (no knocks when you start it or smoke)

The seats are leather and almost look new (maybe been in a garage a few years that helps)

Has remote entry (easy to program a remote to it)

not much i dont like about the car if i was picking on it id say the hidden buttons to open the armrest console (i almost broke it figuring out how to open it)

hey it might not get 40 miles to a gallon but i prefer larger cars i say paying extra on gas is like having better insurance you gotta pay to play is what i always say and dont even think about risking your life on a motorcycle i did for years and had many close calls on my life ,get off them death traps the old women half blind that dont see you is your worst nightmare (she will get you sooner or later i prefer never ! )

Bought this car in Fort Myers, Fla. and drove it about 800 miles home without any problems. Last of the great cars in my opinion. The LT1 engine runs flawlessly and got better than 23MPG at 70MPH on the interstate. The ride and overall comfort was very nice.

Since American auto makers stopped the production of full size wagons in 1996 it's become a legend. With interior room for lots of cargo and passengers, powerful engine, comfort and power options to rival a Cadillac, it's a joy to own and drive. This is my third, starting with a '72 Buick Estate Wagon, then an '87 Pontiac Parisienne and now a '93 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon. I absolute love it! The 350 (5.7l) engine from GM is well proven and is reliable.Drive train seems strong and reliable also. It handles very graceful, both on straight open road , and around turns and corners. The only issues with mine was a leaking transmission, wich I attribute to normal wear and tear,...and also rear power windows came off the track...a $7 part fixed that! All in all...a great American vehicle! And on top off beeing a great daily driver, with care it only increases in value.

THE AD WITH THE ABOVE SIMILAR TITLE IS JUST AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR E85 FUEL WHICH DRASTICALLY CUTS DOWN YOU FUEL MILEAGE TO ALMOST HALF WHAT YOU WILL GET NOW EX. A CAR THAT GETS 18 MPG LIKE MOST ROADMASTERS DO WITH GET APPROX 11 MPG WHICH WILL GIVE IT A RANGE OF A LITTLE OVER 200 MILES BEFORE YOU HAVE TO FILL IT AGAIN. I HAVE COMPLAINED OVER AND OVER AGAIN ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR AD AND HAVE GOTTEN NO ACTION FROM ANYONE HERE IN THIS LAME PLACE WHICH REALLY DOESN'T CARE ABOUT CROOKS ONLY PROFITS. I OWN TWO 95 ROADMASTERS A WAGON AND A SEDAN, THEY ARE GREAT CARS AND RUN FOREVER, HAVE PLENTY OF POWER AND ARE VERY COMFORTABLE AND SATISFYING TO DRIVE JUST DON'T CONVERT THEM TO ANY FUEL WHICH USES 85% ETHANOL, YOU THINK FOOD IS HIGH NOW? YOU LIKE STOPPING EVERY 200 MILES FOR GAS? ME EITHER. THAT AD IS A SHAM AND SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT, PLEASE COMPLAIN, I HAVE AND HAVE GOTTEN NO WHERE.

My '94 came from my family, someone died and nobody else wanted the "Whale", as we called it. This thing is amazing! Roadmaster comes LOADED with every option GM offered. Mine has about 65,000 miles, has the LT1 motor, and drives like brand new. There is room for EVERYBODY you know and still gets about 23.5 MPG. Most of my trips are a minimum of 30 miles one way so that's important to me. Along with the TOW pkg (we tow a 2 horse trailer) this car is just fantastic!
Built like a tank. My mechanic, who is from the old school estimates the car, cared for with just regular maintenance, will do 350,000 miles before it gives out.
Wouldn't sell mine to less then $8000.00 ( last offer from a neighbor who had one 10 years ago was $7,500)

1993 Buick Roadmaster: Ebay Auto...What A FABULOUS Concept!

The purchase of this car is our favorite Ebay transaction out of over 300. Finding ourselves in minor crisis as the car we use to commute 180 miles a day to our workplace met sudden death (i.e. no heat among other critical functions), we looked to Ebay Motors for a solution. Traveling about BITTER COLD snowy central Wisconsin looking at cars that are covered in snow from the latest blizzard was not an option. From our comfy and warm couch we surfed Ebay Motors and found not just a few, but many dependable and rather nice cars to place on our watch list. We LOVE the car we bid on & won from Z and V Auto in Minocqua...for an amazing price (half of blue book!) we got a comfortable & dependable car with low miles, perfect for the commute! It checked out very well at our trusty mechanic's...the best part of the transaction was having "Vito," the seller, tell us we can return the car if we are the least bit unhappy ~ wow!
