What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

The car runs smoothly and gets good gas mileage, it has a small back seat but that's to be expected with a 2 door car like this. It's a perfect car for my teenager.

I love this car. It is the second one I have owned. For the price you can't get any more reliable performance. You can get an SRT-4 for less with more power, but come on. A Turbo American engine? Good luck getting 100,000 miles out of that. With Honda craftsmanship you can expect 250,000+ miles out of your RSX. Plus try to take turns in the SRT-4.

There's nothing more fun than taking an offramp that has a suggested speed limit of 45mph at 75mph with no worries of not making it.

The only thing I would warn others about is that the stiff seats can get a little uncomfortable if you're going to be driving over 350miles non-stop.

2005 Acura RSX: 2005 RSX S is truly one of the greatest cars ever made

I love the 2005 Acura RSX-S. It is arguably the greatest car ever made. The cars are not only fuel efficent but are extreemly fast and handle well. I recently purchased a 05 RSX-S off from ebay but due to the seller being DIS-Honest was not the car that it should be. These cars are so awesome BUT BEWARE make sure you have a mechanic or someone you know that knows these cars because since they are so awesome and fast there is a higher chance that someone has beat on it or possibly it is missing parts that an in-experienced buyer may not know about. I would suggest having a local Acura Dealership look over the car for you that way you know what you are getting yourself into. However when you do find one of these babies that have been treated well and are in the PREMO shape, there is nothing better.

things i like:
-its fun to drive
-color scheme, i dont like red but it looks very good because it all matches beautifully
-agressive look of car, it just doesnt get old to me
-sunroof
-lumbar on driver seat
-ease of working on car:engine, interior, etc
-integrated fm antenna in rear hatch window
-dual split, fold down rear seats, one pull and their down in 3 seconds
-cargo cover for rear
-rear power outlet, on back of center console
-dual center console storage, top storage, reveals 2 cup holders below. looks very clean

things i dont like:
-stereo is facing driver, away from everybody else
-gas mpg isnt all that great, like 25-27.
-factory speakers, rear speakers are usless, the way they are angled, you cannot hear them, the fronts over power them so much i have to fade almost everything to the back just so it sounds even.
-small glovebox, no room for anything if factory owners manual is present.
-heavy doors, very large (they have to be because of the 2 door style, but they are big and heavy)
-loud, lots of road noice especially on freeway, its suppost to be a sport car, lightweight and all but it is fairly loud, while driving, which in some opinions is not bad.
-rear has large blind spots, fix with buying large broadway mirror.

2002 Acura RSX: She is a Winner!

This car embodies the perfect blend of balanced handling, performance, and economy of travel. I have hit 129 mph before running low on tar, I have packed away a #4 Duluth pack, and two internal frame backpacks, fishing and camping gear, a Grumman 19 ft canoe on a roof rack and rope bridle I made, all to get up into our BWCA canoe area in Northern Minn. The RSX took the load with not a complaint, performed as asked, and then when unloaded, she was right back to her dynamic self.

I find myself saying "I love this car" practically every time I drive it, and we have 71k on the car at this point. She has always gotten around 35 mpg, unless we have the canoe gear onboard, and then it will be in the mid 20's.

The ONLY regret that I have is that Acura has chosen to stop making this model of car now. A sad day for someone who enjoys the heck out of superior engineering, a fabulous grasp of built in quality and performance, and a car with true heart.

My undying gratitude for the wonderful designers, engineers and techs that made this car the very best I have ever driven or owned. It is pure pleasure on wheels.

Sports and Imports Auto of Texas is the place to locate some of the finest used cars available. At first, I was hesitant to purchase a car sight without seen over the internet. But not when dealing with Sports and Imports Auto of Houston, TX. They provided 60 pictures of the vehicle your interested in from all sides. If they list it without dents or damage, and in fine mechanical order BELIEVE IT. They have the eye for detail and the honesty in giving you the facts. Great communication, friendly customer service, easy transaction. If there is a car you like, call them they will be glad to tell you all the details.

I am really happy with my purchase. The Acura looks and drives great.
The body of the car has been taken care of. The dealer is a good guy and I do recommend him to any one who is purchasing a car.

Its a quick car with a very stiff/tight suspension. The result is that it is very responsive, hugs corners, but you feel the bumps. Great on gas, looks sharp, good sound system. Just a lot of fun to kick around in. Like the car alot.

I bought my 2002 Acura RSX Type-S new in Dec 2001 and its been the best car I've ever owned. It has 117,000 miles on it and literally NOTHING has gone wrong. The only thing I've done is have the brakes done at 85,000 and I had the 105,000 mile 'tune up' (spark plugs, coolant). The clutch is original. The engine starts immediately and is smooth as glass. The transmission shifts smoothly. I average around 31 mpg. And the car is very quick! I'm 6'2" and fit inside with no problem. I've had no problems with any of the electrical or anything like that. The stereo and all the things inside the car have never had any problems. No kidding.....a great car. Its a shame they stopped making it.
