What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value Range assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

1968 Ford Mustang: 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible

The seller (Matt Pons) should be ashamed of himself for even listing the 1968 Mustang convertible I bought from him on ebay. I don't know what my legal actions are at this point, or what actions ebay can take on my behalf, but I know why he wanted cash or a cashiers check up front before he released the car. I should have used pay pal or a credit card, then I would have had some kind of recourse.
My fault for not doing a personal inspection of the car, but people should not be allowed to sell junk on ebay. This cannot be restored and it is "not" a project car. It has been rat infested, there is no solid metal on the car, it left a trail of rust from Massachusetts to Utah, the delivery driver got a kick out of that.
The only monetary value of this car is the engine, convertible top motor and a few chrome pieces. No brakes on the car. Can't even get the wheels off to repair, they are rusted together. I'm very disappointed with the seller!!
Lubing and repair in the back yard will not be opportunities.
If Mr.Pons has any conscience at all, he will refund at least 1/2 of my money $6,766 plus $1,000 shipping = $3,800.
I don't know where he finds these cars, but they are not worth restoring. (he has another Mustang convertible listed right now, with the same verbage, he is looking for cash again. Listing #200099174492. He has excellent ratings for selling baseball cards, it looks as though he just started in the car business.
I am not rich, I can't put $40,000 to $50,000 into a piece of rusted out garbage, lubing will not fix these doors. Every piece of metal on this car has to be replaced. Shame on you Matt!! The car is not worth the $1,000 I paid to get it here. I got swindled big time, and it is time for this kind of selling to stop.

1965 Ford Mustang: Buyer Beware

I recently purchased a 1965 Mustang on Ebay. I looked at the pictures and emailed and spoke to the seller on the phone. The mustang was described as ready to race. Well when I received the car, there were several problems with it. The suspension on the car was modified by the seller and the left fender is resting on the tire, the headers are also resting on the suspension which if driven will damage the headers, engine and suspension. The brakes do not work and the list goes on. I filed with Ebay Fraud protection because next to the ad it said I was covered up to $20,000. Ebay said I am not covered and they cannot help me. Your Fraud Protection gives the buyer a false sense of security during a purchase. It appears that your fraud protection is in fact fraud itself.Consider me a former customer unless you step up to the plate and take responsibility.

The car itself is a good car. This car was inbetween the 65 and 67 year model. It has a lot of the improvements from 65 and some of the ideas installed for the 67 mustang. It's a great car for a project. Very easy to work on.

1967 Ford Mustang: Rebuilding my 67 mustang

Have to start by saying, "I really like vehicles from the 60's"; this is not my first mustang, I have had a variety of mustangs from 1965 - 1998.

This is the first in as bad condition, as I have ever took on to rebuild. Regaining some old skills that my father had taught me. The new leading combination lead and equipment made my transition better than I remember in the late 50s and early 60s. Corrosion control has really excelled in the past several years and that's why I picked the 67 mustang that I am working. The wire welder is great to weld in a new piece in the cut out area, grind it, lead it, treat it and it is better than original, great for a spotweld substitute...no longer use bondo and with the new corrosion treatments, no blistering in a couple a three years and now, no cracking bonding. When I finish I will have a smile from ear to ear as I do on my Tang now...

Car sheet metal in good condition and drives and rides good. However, the paint was not as advertised, has tansmission leak, fuel guage, vent controls and horn do not work and two windows do nto operate correctly. 90% of weatherstripping needs replacing. List goes on with misc. items. Seller was not honest. I contacted him and tried to work a settlement on the money I will have to spend on it and he would not work with me. I did give him a poor rating. I will now have to I feel the EBay "warranty" is worthless as it states it can only be utilized if one item is a repair of $1000. Thsi does not allow the buyer any recourse with the cumulative items that are clearly mis-represented. EBay works best when both parties get a good deal but it clearly favors the seller. I would not buy a major purchase on eBat again.

Car is AWSOME! Seller was very honest about discription and condition of the car. Car accellerates beautifully and purrs on the highway.Only thing I was disapointed in was some paint flaws, but overall a beautiful car. Reccomend the seller highly.

1995 Mustang GT 5.0 convertible, is a great sport / performance vehicle for the money you pay.
It is great as a second car: Lots of power, and a lot of fun driving with the roof down.
It is not a car for saving money on gas, or not a fancy vehicle to impress your friends. It's a car for real driving, and real personal enjoyment, for very little money.
I always can't wait to be behind the wheel again.
Another advantage is, that they are plenty of mechanics that can work cheap on it, planty of parts for it, and plenty after market parts and accessories.

We liked the car because it was in near perfect shape and it looks great. The engine runs and for an old car it still operates like a gently used car.

Awesome little car, much lighter than other years of mustangs. The 5.0 has a huge aftermarket. car runs great for being stock and with a little work can be a rocket. many upgrades can be acquired from the 94-04 mustang because of their similarly constructed platform. bottom the the only car I've ever been satisfied with.
