The vehicle looks great! It has a good mix of features, somewhat eclectic. As a German car it has an odd mix of luxury and near luxury features, and some features that one would expect, but are inexplicably missing.
The reliability is okay. For a vehicle which is 6 years old it has more than it's fair share of rattles. Don't confuse this with a Japanese vehicle! The maintenance is getting pricey, an interference engine with a timing belt, means a pricey maintenance at 105,000 miles, timing belt, tensioner, water pump, serpentine belt. The emission system is notoriously sensitive; dual exhaust means two catalytic converters and 4 O2 sensors, with a dealer replacement of over $2,000! And don't misplace a key, because you're not going to get one replaced at the drug store. A robust engine immobilizer system means a costly trip to the dealer for a $245 replacement key.
It is a safe car, an air bag everywhere, a solid 4 wheel drive system, and really fun to drive, really fun! Just know what you're getting into. This car will need a committed owner, you're not going to just add gas and go, but when you want to go, you'll enjoy the ride!!!
