What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

This is my third Jetta; I've owned an MKIII, MKIV, and now an MKV, and I am impressed. These cars have come a long way, and as Volkswagen is planning on a return to a more affordable people's car for the next Jetta series, I'd be willing to bet that these will the the pinnacle in the Jetta line for quite some time.

There are a tremendous number of features for my "stripped" pkg. 0. Automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, heated seats, highline display (trip computer), power driver's seat, customizable "comfort" options (e.g., can decide how you like the doors unlocked, coming home lights, etc.).

The car also drives and performs well. It is a bigger and heavier car as compared to the MKIV series, but it handles itself well on the roads. It is extremely smooth, and the cabin is comfortable. The car has a nice feel to it, and everything fits very well. There are a host of aftermarket options to dress it up, but the interior is excellent.

Mine is the TDI version, and that is reason I traded my Mazda3 for this. This car is quiet and smooth, yet it gets between 45-50 mpg with a manual transmission and conscientious driving. In addition, you can run biodiesel, which is better for the environment and stimulates the US economy, 10k mile oil change intervals, 600-800 miles/tank, etc.

Overall, I could not be happier with the car or the seller. I would definitely recommend buying one, especially the TDI series. Visit tdiclub.com and find me there (czar) if you have any questions. You can't go wrong with this car!

I like to start by saying we have had this car only a few weeks, but are very pleased with it so far. The car drives really well, the seats are super comfortable and its loaded with pretty cool features. The performance is super. Its a 1.8 turbo six speed but still get really good mileage, over 30mpg the way we drive it. My son had a Jetta III before this, and wanted a newer car. I didn't hesitate to buy another Jetta. I am a BMW person, so my standards are pretty high. The car has a few issues that are minor , but need to be mentioned. The brakes are a little touchy and take some getting used to and are also noisy at times. The road noise at speed is also a lot louder than I am used to, the Monsoon system can drown this out by increasing the volume a bit. The fit and finish seem up to German standards and the materials seem above average. This car looks like it will stand the test of time. It has over 70,000 miles but drives like new. I know from working on the Jetta III that VWs are hard to work on, I had to pull the whole front end off the car just to change the radiator. I am hoping these are better but doubt it. My 18 year old son loves this car. I would buy again without question.

This is a great little car and really sips the gas. I love driving it! The 5 speed shifts as easy as stroking a kitten and the TDI engine delivers plenty of power. I drove it home from Clarksburg and fell in love with it.

We have owned VW's before and we were looking for a dependable 2nd car. I was very nervous about buying a car off ebay, but I couldn't have been more happy with the car, and most importantly my experience with Nashville Motorsports. Took me all of 10 minutes to pickup the car upon my arrival - very smooth.

I bought this car for the 45 miles to the gallon, but after driving it, well its is like driving a Mercedes. German built with all the options you can think of with a cheaper price.

I sold by Beetle Tdi automatic for this Jetta Tdi 5-speed. Gas mileage jumped from 33 to 43. The manual shift is buttery smooth and easy. The downside is that it maked multi-tasking difficult, which may be a good thing. The acceleration is remarkable. When boost spools up, it jumps. The engine is so quiet it is taking me awhile top adjust to the clutch. (I have been stalling it because there was no engine noise!)The trunk is cavernous and the back seats fold down with the release of two latches to accommodate large items.

IF YOU LIVE IN THE MIDWEST WHERE THE ROADS ARE SALTED DURING THE WINTER MONTHS,IT MAKES A GREAT DEAL OF SENSE TO BUY A USED AUTOMOBILE FROM THE SOUTH. MY WIFE AND I NEEDED A NEW CAR AND HAPPENED TO SEE THIS GORGEOUS 2005 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA ON EBAY. THE CAR HAD POWER LEATHER HEATED SEATS, SUNROOF, AND WAS SUPPOSEDLY IN ABSOLUTELY PERFECT CONDITION MECHANICALLY AS WELL AS COSMETICALLY. IT WAS WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR. RATHER THAN HAVING IT SHIPPED WE DECIDED TO FLY TO FLORIDA (75 degrees) AND DRIVE IT THE 1500 MILES BACK TO IOWA (-10 degrees). IT TURNED OUT TO BE EXACTLY WHAT THE SELLER HAD ADVERTISED..."THE BEST CAR THIS SIDE OF THE SHOWROOM." IT ENDED UP BEING A SPLENDID JANUARY ADVENTURE.
ON THE TRIP HOME THE JETTA PERFORMED BEAUTIFULLY. I'VE OWNED A COUPLE OF BMWs AND SEVERAL VOLKSWAGENS OVER THE YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS LIKED AND APPRECIATED THE GERMAN ENGINEERING. I REALIZE WITH ALL THE NEW TECNOLOGY IN THIS DAY AND AGE THERE ARE MANY FINE AUTOMOBILES AVAILABLE TO CONSUMERS, BUT IN MY OPINION, A VOLKSWAGEN IS ONE OF THE BEST.

God lead me to this vehicle. I have been shopping around for a vehicle that had some of the amenities of this vehicle but never thought about this vehicle because it was out of my price range. Well, after a month of shopping around locally and online, I came home around 11pm and turned on the internet to check out my progress. While looking up my ebay, I saw a nice jetta pictured above with all the amenities I was looking for and even more. So many dealerships were telling me to be realistic and that I would not be able to get everything I was asking or looking for for the price I was willing to pay. I held out and jumped out on faith and what drops in my sight, this beautiful car. Performance is smooth and great, reliability is excellent- it tells you whatever is wrong on the computer monitor, comfort is outstanding, and the quality and craftsmanship is a work of art. The only complaint I have is for the passenger seat, the only way to lean your seat back is to use this winding wheel and my passengers and I think that is a bit much just to lean back. I think they could have come up with something less stressful, especially those with joint and muscle problems. Buy this car, you will love just about everything about it. Thanks volkswagon for coming up with an affordable and neat car. I love it!
