1997 Volkswagen Golf

Everytime somebody writes a review about something the first thing they talk about is all of the positive things. Well, with this one I'll tell you the negatives right up front.
1. Not a lot of leg room up front
2. Needs more cup holders
3. Sits kind of low when loaded with 4 passangers
That's all - that is what I have found PERIOID...

This is a great car:
1. Almost 40 MPG, isn't that enough in this day and age
2. Speed off the line
3. Comfortable seating
4. Large trunk storage space
5. Room for the kids
6. Four doors
7. The wife loves it, her cute car
8. Reliability
9. German engineering
10. VWubblue, enough said

You can't go wrong for a car over ten years old. I talked to many mechanics before purchasing this car and they kept coming back with "I have nothing bad to say about the Golfs". They only way this car was improved was with the disel engine - it has given drivers 45 to 48 MPG.

They only complaint that I truly have is the leg room on the passengers side, it makes one feel contained. I usaually cross my legs when I sit for log drives, and my feet keep pushing up against the center console. I am not a big guy, only 5' 9". Although, the kids in the back have a fair amount of room for the cars size.

This is the perfect car to sit in traffice and watch the big truck next to you get "6 gallons to the mile". So open up the power sunroof and smell the flowers, it will save you a bundle of $$$.
