What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

The triumph spitfire is a small 2 seat roadster that exudes the styling cues of the 70's. althoufgh it only has a 1500cc engine this engine works nicely with the small scale of the car, performance is exceptional for a car of this class

I like my new 1977 Triumph Spitfire. I bought it from a dealer in AZ. They were very helpful and cooperative. It was advertised as is and I knew that when it arrived it would have some imperfections and things I would have to deal with. Overall I am happy with the car, after all it is 32 years old. It replaced one I had back in the late "70's". I took it to a local British car mechanic, he seemed to think I got a fairly good car. My eBay experience was satisfactory.

I purchased a used 77 Spitfire recently and absolutely love it; it is a lot of fun. With it being a 30 year old car, it needed some cosmetic restoration (but then again, what ol' gal doesn't); we replaced the tires, top, dash, carpet, all vinyl, installed seats from a Mazda Miata; and performed some minor mechanical maintenance. In the city, we are averaging approximately 35 mpg; which is GREAT! I intend to use this car for my daily commute of approximately 100 miles per day, I can't wait to see what kind of mileage it gets on the highway. It has been pretty easy to obtain the parts we need, both original (Triumph) and substitute, for example we just replaced the leaf spring in the rear to reduce the negative camber, and replaced the shocks with corvette shocks. This care is affordable, easy to maintain, fun to drive, and gets great gas mileage; you can't ask for much more than that.
