What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

2005 Toyota Tundra: 4x4 Limited Access Cab Stepside

My Tundra purchase was my first ebay transaction and though hesitant at first dealing with an unknown dealer in the USA, it turned out fantastic. The truck was as good as advertised and continues to be. The whole ebay experience went like clockwork. You get a good relationship going with the dealer and they bend over backwards for you, they were great ebayers for sure. I have had the '05 for about 2-1/2 yrs now and have not regretted the purchase.
The 4.7 has much better performance than my previous 5.7 Chevy. There have been no problems at all and the regular maintenance has been a breeze. My Tundra has been the most reliable vehicle that I have owned and I have had the Ford's & Chevy's.
Though not really enough to affect my ratings I do wish the front seats could be raised to support the calves a bit more. The primary use is within the city and occasional a highway jaunt. I don't keep track of the mileage anymore but hey it's a truck . Comfortable and easy to drive on the long trips. The interior sound proofing is superb so when the tunes aren't playing you have some real good quiet time as the exterior noises really do not penetrate.
The access cab does not provide enough room in the back for anyone larger than a child so the full 4 door version may be a better set up if you have kids or adults riding in the back. I also have towed a 24ft & a 29ft travel trailer with it. You know when you have 5100lbs on the back but with overdrive off I was very impressed with the towing power the 4.7 puts out. The truck payload could be better but if you watch that and take it easy you will not have any problems. Oh yeah make sure you get the necessary WDH and anti-sway bars to help level the load if towing.
Very very happy with the Tundra. I highly recommend the brand. Would like to upgrade the trailer to a 5'er and would not hesitate buying a new Tundra at all providing it had the proper equipment to handle a larger 5th wheel. I have only talked to a few other Tundra owners and they all have excellent comments to say. Power, comfort, reliability and quality, you pretty much get the whole package with the Toyota Tundra.

The vehicle was about what we expected based on the description. There was one issue with the tires they were 8 years old the truck was only four. I did not hire an inspector to do a thorough look over. The unexpected things were minor. The sellers were very professional and easy to work with regarding the transaction. They contacted us quickly and were easy to work with regarding payment and delivery. Based on the inspection as a whole the vehicle is a good one, at a good price. I am going to keep them in my favorites for future reference.
The minor stuff dry rotted wipers and tires. The prep very good in the engine compartment. The under carriage had heavy mud around the exhaust and drive shaft.

Really like the truck. THis is my first Toyota full size truck and it meets my expectations. THe only thing I can complain about in these times of $4 plus gas is the gas mileage. I drove it to Myrtle Beach the week after I bought it and it got about 18 miles per gallon on that trip, but in town it only get about 12-13 miles per gallon. My favorite feature is the back glass that rolls all the way down. I have had a the truck for almost two months so far and it is a great truck, comfortable, powerful, and easy to drive.

2005 Toyota Tundra: Best Truck I've Ever Owned !

I have the four door SR5 with all standard features plus trailer towing package. My wife and I travel a lot and prefer this to wife's Caddy. Not only does it ride well , it's ultra quiet ! Gas mileage is 19-21 on highway and 19 in town. Engine extremely powerful and tows boats, cars on trailers and also hauls bed full of building materials. Truck has longer than average turning radius and you really have to get used to parking it. Only maintenance problem has been replacement of front end parts due to a recall. Performed at regular maintenance with no charge. I've owned Fords, Chevy and classic street rod trucks. This one overshadows them all !

Tundra is the best riding, most refined pick up I've ever been in. Been driving one for 2 yrs and its great. Nice and roomy interior with good looking exterior. I've had F-150, Dodge Ram and Titan owners in my truck and they agree the Tundra rides the best especially on highway. Favorite feature is back window roll down. Of course I'd like better MPG but it does very well on hwy getting close to 20 mpg. I got an aftermarket tonneau cover which keeps everything safe, dry and is removable for the big stuff. Also I recommend getting the running boards. This is a big truck and not all can climb in so easily without them. Also parking is sometimes a pain but you get used to it.
Overall I recommend the Tundra. Lots of standard features in my SR5.
