the ride is excelent interior is larger not cramped like older ones .bed has adjustable tracks fo tieing things down and storage on a complete composite bed .the only thing i didnt like was carpet floor mats but that is easy fix .found rubber on ebay

I purchased a beautiful red Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Longbed TRD Sport. I have previously ownded several Toyota products including two trucks and have been impressed with their quality. When Toyota redesigned the Tacoma in 2005, I knew I wanted one. I chose the double-cab V6 model because my family had increased in size recently and it is gives enough room for all of us comfortably. With this particular truck, I am impressed with the power it has. Previous models didn't have near the power. I am also impressed with the comfort and quietness of the interior area. It also has a camera in the rear tailgate which activates automatically when put in reverse and the monitor is in the rear-view mirror which is a nice feature that I have never seen before. The radio/CD player has excellent sound although I wish it had a CD changer in it. It has plenty of cupholders and storage space. It also has an onboard inverter in the truck bed which allows you to plug in electric equipment. There is only one thing that I can say that I do not like about the truck...It has 17 inch tires which are costly to replace right now but I hope the prices of those will soon go down as more vehicles enter the marketplace with the same size tires. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

In general, the car is excellent. Beware however with buying an 'as is' vehicle. There were things not quite right with the truck, and since it is difficult to think of asking all possible questions ahead of time, I think I got stuck with some issues, however not sure who to point the finger at.
Truck shimmys at speed - the seller could have noted it on e-bay, or maybe he didn't drive it up to 65 mph to feel the condition. The front left knuckle (what the wheel spindle attaches to) was from a junk yard. I didn't ask, and the seller didn't include it in the description.
Do I like the truck - yes. I wish the wheel shimmy was not an issue, and I'll work through it. Overall, it was a good deal for the money. Would I buy a vehicle again on e-bay sight unseen; no I would not, too much risk. In the future, I would buy local and test drive it first.

I love this truck. I searched for 3 years, test drove several competitors' vehicles, and decided on a Tacoma double cab. I love the room in the back seats...my family has long legs. I love the storage behind and under the back seats. I absolutely love everything about this truck. Ebay had the best price on what I wanted. I couldn't be happier.

Best truck ever. I have put on 25,000 miles on it and not a one single problem. It takes everything you throw at it. Been on off road, (Great experience). Towed my Jetski (I had to look back in my rear view mirror to see if the jet ski still attached cause I did not even feel it pulling), took it on a snowboarding trip in the mountains (handles great in the snow). You have to go with the 6 cylinder it has planty of power. Don't even think about getting a 2 wheel drive you must go with the 4x4 and yes you will use it. Don't even think about a different truck, this is the one you will fall in love with.

The Tacoma is exactly what we needed. Enough power to tow a small camper or trailer and yet decent gas mileage for everyday use.
