What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

2007 Toyota Prius: Go ahead, make faces to all gas guzzler :D

• Overall Satisfaction:
I got my silver 2007 prius 3 weeks ago. (late oct/06)
It's a pack #2 with mp3, stablity control, rear camera and full airbags.

I didn't have to wait for one at my dealership (in San Fran bay area, CA)
so whatever those dealership BSing a bloody waiting list and try to charge or make you do a depost, walk away. Also, if you are a costco member, the discount is not worth the trouble.

Okay - the review:

The GOOD:
1. I had been driving it for 3 weeks; to work and day trips. 900 miles on my ob meter - and I average 50 miles a gallon. I only filled my tank twice in last 3 weeks.
2. Amazing interior noise - I drove over 80 mph and it didn't even hiss at me.
3. Even quietier when you coast it on city street.
4. The cool geek factor is still very much in this car. But sorry, this car isn't a true babe magnet. (darn! ^_^;)
5. Cargo space is insanely huge. I could stuff a full size futon flat with rear seat fully folded down.
6. Rear seatings (I am told) are very comfy.

The BAD:
1. Not absolutely comfortable... This car driver seat similar to a full size SUV. While it is okay, it just isn't as well design as I expected in a "sub compact". (driving is different then being a passager)
2. Batteries... The estimated cost for replacing that NiMH pack is about $12,000. - it does last 150,000 miles but don't bet on it.

The UGLY:
1. it handle like a van.. Not just a van-van, it's FEEL LIKE moving in a VW bus. Becuase my past driving experiences were mainly "Nihonize pocket-rockets" - this car handling characteristic doesn't impressive me.
2. Blind spots.. this car had 2 major blind spot. The first one in the front - it cut off part of your front view. The other in the traditional rear end of the car - only problem that it is compounded by the poorly placed hatch support beam/shell.
3. Colour... The hottest/unusal colour on the prius is the titanium grey and unlike other regular Toyota, that colour is very rare. The next rarest is the seaside pearl (green). Either way, if you want those colours - prepare to wait a long long time.

The conclusion:
If you want to be a bit sporty, but still want to be somewhat green - get the honda as its fun to drive that car.
But if you want is a green FAMILY car that do its job as good transportation. Then this is your car. (The Camery-H is even better but more $$$)

2007 Toyota Prius: We got our Prius (2007, Packagae 3) 2 months ago

We bought the Prius to be more green on the environment and since our 3 and half year old son and his au pair were driving 100 miles a day and buring 4-5 gallons of fuel.

Our first concern was safety and we were pleasantly surprised by the crash testing results. Our next concern was size/legroom and again it has more legroom than our 300 E Class Mercedes. We looked at the Camry hybrid just in case the room was better but again surprisingly the Prius came out ahead and we sould have sacrificed MPG down to 38-40 instead of the 56!

After driving it 5500 miles in the last 2 months, we are delighted. The average miles per gallon is 56 for the entire 5500 miles combination of city and highway. We have saved the environment of 140 gallons of fuel fumes :).

We added after market Leather seats which the Toyota dealer arranged for us and they are a huge improvement over the cloth seats. We also added an in roof Panasonic DVD/LCD player and our son loves it.

The engine purrs at 75 MPH and is totally quiet at 35....

The NOT SO GOOD: The suspension is not as tight as our german cars (should be an easy fix for toyota and I am surprised they don't fix it). The rear view mirror does not give us the same level of visibility due to the design of the rear Hatch. Not a major draw back but certainly could be improved.

We intend to keep buying Hybrids and hope to replace our Mercedes and BMW in the next year with new Hybrid technolgy or hopefully even better FULLY Electric cars.

2007 Toyota Prius: Toyota Prius

Averaging 53 MPG with the new Fuel Max tires. Great car - very high tech and has more interior room than my camry did. Not a small car. Also versatile - it's easy to lower the rear seats and you can fit a TON of cargo in the back. These cars are made in Japan rather than Mexico (like Ford) and I expect that is partly responsible for the quality of fit/finish and reliability. This is not a luxury car, however. The lack of acceleration is somewhat annoying, and it is not super quiet or plush like a Cadillac - but it is overall a great car nonetheless.

well, i just wanted to warn you this auto seller in houston texas Michael A. Roa
Team Autoplex, Inc.
5712 Southwest Freeway
Houston,Texas 77057 who sold my 06 prius for $17000. Before i bought my car, i asked him if anything negative i need to know about this car. I asked him if any stains, scratches etc. he answered me car is in great shape. i bought the car and a few days later i realized front and rear bumpers were repainted! i wanted to buy a 2 years old new shape car, not a repainted car even it is only 24 months old car. so what happened to this car is a question because he swears that he didnt know about it but he is in car business for 25 some years and he is not a stupid guy to buy a repainted car without knowing it. but he thinks that buyers are stupid and they will not find out about it. he sent me $150 pocket change to repaint what ever is necessary but damage is already done to this car and it is not original paint.Seller`s name is Michael Roa and i want you to be aware of him. He talks nice and looks nice guy with an evil of way of business. Just go get your car from someone else.

I can't say enough positive things about my Prius. It was in near perfect condition. I bought it for the great gas mileage and it hasn't disappointed me. In addition I have a well-manufactured car with lots of leg room for a car its size. I'm amazed at the actual power it has when needed. It looks great, drives great, feels great and the price was perfect.

For my 50th birthday, and to hedge against higher gas prices, I bought myself a Prius. It gets 49 miles to the gallon and runs very quiet. The only disadvantages are reduced trunk space. I bought this particular car because it is a certified used car with a 7 year powertrain warranty. I love this car!

I bought a 07 Prius with 31,00 miles I purchased signt unseen. I couldn't find any to look at in NE. More headroom than most cars. I drove home from Sacramento. I averaged above 50 mpg. I think the back up camera would be a must as the visability isn't great backing up.(Option 2 and above.) Suprisingly quiet and confortable. The bluetooth is fun to play with. Excellent leg room in rear seats for a smaller car. I would drive it more but my wife took it for her own. She lets me drive it on weekends. She is only averaging about 48 mpg but I think it would make 50 if she wasen't using ehtenol blended gas. If I need another car it will be high on my list. If I could keep it from my wife.

I bought the Prius because it was a hybrid car, and the excellent reputation that Toyota has for Quality. The projected 50 Miles per Gallon was also a very strong consideration. The excellent feedback that the seller had was a major factor in chosing a seller from among the many listed. The results of my satisfaction after one month, and 1500 miles on the vehichle, are we love the car and are very happy with the whole transaction.
P.S. We are averaging 51 MPG

After I won the e-bay bid I sent the deposit via paypal same day. I contacted the buyer and paid off his loan with Toytoa Leasing. I send the full amount of the purchase agreement to Toyota and they forwarded the left over funds to the seller. Once Toyota made the transaction two weeks later I received the pink slip and the buyer recevied the balance of the funds. I took a plane from Los Angeles, Ca. to pick up the car in San Francisco, Ca. Lots of work and well worth the effort. You have to trust and ejoy doing this stuff.
Great car, was as discribed. PERFECT CONDITION.

2007 Toyota Prius: 2007 Toyota Prius: perfect year Eco-statement Mobile

I think it's a babe magnet because chicks like new cars, this one is forever new like the New Beetle that Toyota just perfects but does not change. The design grows on you as you roll... it does, and the car makes an eco-statement by its uniqueness. Hopefully the girl you want to attract places the environment of planet earth at a high priority. Remember: if everyone drove your car the US could import zero oil and the air in LA would be again breathable like the 1930s.

Now the facts: interior design and appointment is very good, most cupholder (places) - 8 - of any car. I'm over 6 feet tall and feel comfortable in the driving position because there is no giant console in the middle to push back on my right calf. The engine system has good pickup and fantastic economy. Toyota engineers are geniuses.
