What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I've yet to drive the car. It became inoperable "immediately after the auction" & was unable to be driven. I wanted out but the Seller offered to tow it to my residence, so I agreed. He did not follow simple instructions on where to put it; instead, it was dropped off in a public alley with no registration or inspection sticker. Police were called, car was towed & impounded & cost me $313.00 to get it back.

It is now at the garage being repaired, but I have yet to receive the temporary registration that was to come with the car. The car will be done soon, and the garage has made it clear they will want the car moved as soon as possible, but I have no way to legally drive it.

I was very disappointed when I finally got to see the car & would not have followed through with the purchase if I had seen it before taking delivery. I think a lot of sellers "sugar-coat" their descriptions, but in this case, it was pretty blatant. I found myself asking "Could this be the same car that was described in the auction?" When I reread the description & looked at the pictures, it became clear the car had not been described accurately & the pictures had not specifically shown the objectionable areas, such as a sizeable dent in the hood and a large worn spot on the seat, neither one of which was mentioned. I think any honest appraiser of this vehicle would describe it's condition as "fair" or perhaps "average for it's age." The seller, however, described it as "almost perfect."

I know there are very honest sellers who go out of their way to describe & photograph all blemishes worth mentioning, but it seems that there are at least as many that do not. Cars will generally look better in photos than they do in person because it's very hard to show small dings, scrathes, etc.

I would proceed with caution on ebay motors car auctions, & always ask the seller if the sale can be mutually terminated if your inspection turns up any conditions, problems or flaws that were not mentioned. Some dealers insist the winning bidder owns the car period, no test drive or inspection allowed. To me, this is just not reasonable. Also, even a car that is sold strictly "as is" should be accurately described as a condition of sale, & if it is discovered the car had undisclosed problems AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE the sale should be rescinded, but seldom is.

I'm not saying I will not buy a car on ebay motors ever again, but I will certainly proceed with caution.

Bought this car with 168k miles and drives excellent. Power, performance, reliability, and comfort at around 30mpg. This car is great for long trips. Ride comfort is just right (not too firm. not too soft). Excellent value for the money. I'll be keeping this one for a while.

This car was the deal of the year. I have bought cars wholesale on ebay before, but had bad luck. Automazing was great every step of the way I highly recommend buying a car from them. I plan on buying from them again. They had outstanding professional courtesy. I am very satisfied with this purchase. Thank you, Nick, and Automazing for the positive Ebay experience.

1999 Saab 9-5: 9-5 is Sweden's car of the decade

Can't match the complete package - best crash ratings, good torque with great fuel economy, easy to work on with GM like reliability, near luxury car at a bargain price. Just make sure you have an independent mechanic or can work on them yourself and it's the bargin of the decade!
Drives like a sports sedan while able to carry like a full size - the wagon is yards better than an SUV with real visibility without the tippiness.
Sporty Aero model has faster 40-70 2nd gear passing time than a 911 turbo!
All around winner rather than emphasizing one trait like other makes.
