What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I have owned three Convertable Saabs. First was an 89. NEVER had a problem with it. Totaled in an accident w 270K miles on it. Second Saab was 95. 6 cyl and HUGE engine problems from the start. Told by mechanics the 6 cyl engine was a bad one. Traded it in on a 2003. LOVE it and never a problem. Great all season car. Only minor issue is the driving comfort- Not bad but not great.

I owned a 2003 Saab 93 Vector (now called an Aero) for almost 3 years. My overall opinion o this vehicle is that it is an excellent buy for the money. A comfortable, fun to drive, extremely safe, and well built sport sedan for at least 10,000 less than the closest BMW.

The problems I experienced with mine all had to do with the cars computer system which controls just about everything in the car. I'm not going to go into detail, but I will say it led to over 20 trips to the dealer over the course of 3 years for repairs. I'm pretty sure most of these bugs have been worked out in later models. I was foolish in building a first year model. On the plus side, the warranty is excellent and I never paid a dime for an repair plus rental cars were also provided at no cost.

Would I buy a Saab again? Maybe. My most recent car purchase... a Honda.

Hope this helps!

The Saab has always caught my eye; just the sporty appearance and great gas mileage is why I wanted it. The Saab 9.3 is a goooogetter.

I had intended on buying a BMW 3 series when I looked at this car back in 2003. I chose the Saab over the Bmer on value/features comparisons. For the money the Saab was the better car, and I wasn't just another 30 something driving a BMW. Now, 3 years later I can say that I still think the car was a good purchase. I have read another review that relates great value for the money, fun to drive, comfortable and spacious. I would agree with all of these points. However the other reviewer of this car also reported a multitude of computer problems, which I have not encountered. My next car will likely not be a Saab, but that has nothing to do with my satisfaction with this car. I am ready to move up to the next level of performance, and Saab has nothing to offer to compete with the RS4/S4 or or the M3 or M5. If they offered something in this range I would absolutely take a hard look.
