What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Yes, this is probably the most contraversial vehicle in the Porsche lineup since the "affordable" 924s of the 1980s. Purists (most of whom I suspect have never tried using a 911 on a daily basis) objected to the the company selling out the brand to make a fast buck in the SUV market.
Nothing could be further from the truth. This is simply a Porsche you can use every day. I leased one of the last of the 2006 models and I have not been this happy with a vehicle since I bought my 1997 C4S ten years ago.
You get the best of both worlds - a fun vehicle with a useful interior, a daily driver that you can still rip into an off ramp in second gear, a real four seater with an awesome V8 that pulls to any legal speed limit (and beyond) like a sports car.
Downsides - not many. The ride can be harsh driving in pothole infested city driving. With +8 inches of ground clearance, at least you won't bottom out. The nav system/sat radio unit takes an actual read of the manual to use to the fullest. The reat seats can get cramped if the front passengers are not charitable. Overall interior space is not meant for a monster run to Costco or Home Depot.
Overall though, this is probably the best value in the whole Porsche lineup. You get a Porsche you can use every day. Year round.

Car gets a lot of looks and is fast after you get rolling. Vehicle is heavy and could use more torque to accelerate faster. Have had no mechanical or electrical problems after 1st year. Gas mileage not bad, 14.5 city and 21 highway. This is not a creature comfort car and for the price could use a lot more luxury amenities. The navigation system is the worst I have ever used and the woman's voice they use has to be a direct dependent of Adolf Hitler.

Overall, I like the car which replaced a BMW X5, but will probably not buy another.

Honestly this is one of the cleanest cars i ever purchases off of eBay, fully loaded with Xenon lights, navigation, premium sound, etc. The car runs very smooth and handles like a true sports car, the V6 could use a little more horsepower but my wife thought it was enough, you guys out there might want to upgrade to a Cayenne S.

This car was in 'like new' condition even though it was 2 1/2 years old. It was a one owner vehicle and Lamborghini Houston did a great job detailing it to make it look near perfect. It is by far the best vehicle I have ever driven. I have absolutely no complaints or dislikes about this purchase.

It was a long process for me. It was either Mercedes GL550, BMW X5, or the Cayenne. I think I made the right decision. Eerythng in the car is where it should be. I don't like however the head rests (doesn't tilt) and the steering wheel design.

The way it looks, feels, drives but mostly how smoothly it shifts - the power of this vehicle is unsurpassed. I owned a Mercedez Benz prior to purchases this vehicle and never thought I would switch. Now, my Mercedez feels like a tin can compared to this Cayenne S.
