These somewhat rare 944 S2 cars are torquey performers. No turbo lag or waiting for the revs to climb for power! That makes them excellent for cruising around town and in traffic as well as spirited motoring. They are also great handling machines with near 50/50 weight distribution and super strong ventilated disc brakes at all 4 corners. Not as quirky as the 911, but these are the most reliable Porsches and are real world class cars that are very easy to live with on a day to day basis. According to EXCELLENCE Magazine market analysis the 944 S2 cabriolet is increasing in value. It is the 2nd to the last year of the balanced 944 series and the kinks had been worked out. It rides well and handles "on rails" -- a good compromise between comfort and handling. Plus it is a convertible! It is perfectly balanced, Z rated tires, very fun car. Unbelievable value point - this went for 50K new!!!

I love my 1990 944 S2!!! I think it Corners like a Madman & it is the Perfect Sports Car for the year it was made to Today! I Might have to sell mine soon, but it is in Perfect Condition! It's a 19 Year old car & drives like I just rolled off the lot! My car is #364 of I believe under 500 Imported into the US in 1990!
