1985 Porsche 944

I really love my new Porsche, such great styling and comfort. Except the heater doesn't work, and its almost winter.

With gas prices soaring in California I decided to replace one of my big V8 vehicles with a smaller, fuel efficient car. I had a 924 when I was younger and it was fun to drive. I found the 944 on Wednesday. It was located in Rancho Cordova, not far from me. I did not have time to see the car in person before bidding but the price was too good to pass up. I saw the seller had a 100% feedback rating and the car was also being sold for charity. I had a maximum set price in mind so when the aution had 30 seconds to go I put in my highest bid. I won the car for $2650. Jim, the seller, was very professional and even stated a full refund if I was not totally happy with it when I got it home. I had the car checked out and had to have the brake rotars turned but everything else mechanically was just great! I also had to hav the back glass replaced due to it being seperated from the frame, but this is common on these models. All in all, I couldn't be happier. I got a great car and am saving tons of money in gas. Another great purchase on eBay. I am a user for life! Lisa, Livermore, California

The car was just as he side it was. very clean and nice pant. Good tires on it.

This car handles amazingly well. It is fairly quick especially on the highway. The stock door handles have a couple of flaws and replacements are very expensive even through ebay. So far I am very excited about driving this car and maintenance isn't as costly as i thought it would be as long you do the work yourself. Engine parts are outrageously priced though. All around a great driving car.
