What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Car is fine, EBAY has issues!
Tried to relist and sell the car less then two weeks later on Ebay using the same add list when I bough the car. Ebay comes back and delist the car and tell me I misrepresented the car and it had a history on the title. Which I never check. So Ebay allowed it to be sold to me with this history and never stop the dealer who sold it to me. Is it far that Ebay has a double standard? Or does Ebay get a kick back form dealers? Running a scam? Like owning paypal and not offering other pay services on there selling pages. Leaving me with a very bad taste in my mouth and has been turned over to the local DA to look into for internet crime.

Thanks for your interest, but I'am sue it will get as much attention as the matter itself. And just bring a endless set of E-mails by nameless people every 24-48 hours response time as SOP for EBAY. With no personal contact no matter how many times we ask for it. Keeping everybody at arms length and hope people get so up set they let matters go.

This is an excellent (for the year) sports car. It's possible to find one for a reasonable amount of money - but don't forget that it is going to cost you some money to take care of it. Parts and service are expensive, but purchasing the vehicle for about the price of a good used Subaru is compelling.

This model has ABS brakes and air bags; something the older one's can't claim. Also be aware that this is a computer-controlled car and predates the OBD-II standards, so, you or your mechanic is going to have to have the appropriate Bosch scan tool to be able to work on it; you aren't going to find one at Pep Boys.

Fun to drive? Um, well, damn straight they are. Just keep your eyes open going in, if you haven't owned one before. Look at the repair history, where (and by whom) it's been maintained by, etc. They are complicated cars and require more than cursory knowledge of how to repair and maintain them; chances are that most ordinary mechanics aren't going to be able to handle more than minor issues.

I recommend obtaining a copy of "Porsche 911 Enthusiasts Companion" (964; 1989-1994) ____ Bentley Publishing, as required reading before buying.

Enjoy!

1990 Porsche 911: Good old sports car which is fun to drive

911 was my dream car since I was a kid! 964 has its old traditional style with modern atmosphere. It's 18 years old but still very reliable and fun to drive. I don't want to drive new cars with cutting edge technologies.
If you are thinking of getting 911, why wait? My C4 doesn't have major issues so far.
