What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

I do like the style of these years. I love old muscle cars. With some work it can be really nice and back on the road getting admired.

78 is a great year ta to own. My personal favorite first year of fisher t-tops, first year of WS6 suspension, last year for an automatic equipped Pontiac 400 engine. Good power, excellent handling, Destined to be a collector car.

The car was a great find! The car is the envy of neighbors. I can't wait to restore the car. We actually found the original car invoice in the glove box.

What I really love about the 1978 Trans Am is it is one of the last American classic's from the golden age of Muscle cars ! These cars have all the flash of a Hemi Road Runner with out the huge price tag ,they can be bought and restored on a working person's budget .One thing you can count on in a Trans am is high visibility if they don't see you coming with all those fender flares and air extractors and let's not forget the huge hood bIrd ,then they will hear you coming with big block power under the hood !
Trans Am's were offered with so many different options that buying one to fit your personality is a snap ! From a Pontiac or Olds big block to a affordable 301 small block this car will suit every enthusiast that has ever dreamed of taking flight in a fabulous Firebird Trans Am .
You could get a velour interior with comfortable high back bucket seat ,power windows and locks ,tilt wheel ,and a formula steering wheel . They were offered in many colors from mild to wild such as formal black and gold or bright and warm Martinique Blue how about one in Solar Gold or Carousal Red !
Let's not forget T-Roofs!
With the price of late sixties and early seventies Muscle cars reaching the stratosphere it is nice to know you can still own a piece of Detroit Iron without paying NASA's budget to own one ! Take it from me a restoration shop owner and fellow enthusiast this is one cool way to go !
