What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

Body was in good shape but had major electrical problems and a motor knock.
I tried to work things out with the seller but did not have any luck.

I was not told that there had been a water leak and the floor pans were very rusty, and the bottom of the dash was basically rotted away. The dash gauges were also very rusty from this condition, including the speedo. I am restoring it.I tried to call the seller back but he won't return my calls. I didn't expect a fully restored car, but I had talked to the seller and he told me there was no rust.

The car was bought to restore to original as much as possible. I purchased it because it was a rare 66 convertible. It needs major work on it but the discription of the condition of the vehicle was fairly accurate. I was a bit leary about buying a big ticket item that was 100's of miles away but the seller was very helpful in getting the transport company, title, etc. all lined up for the sale. As it turned out am having a blast working on the car and hope to have it done in two years.

For several years now I have been looking and dreaming of renewing my love for the first car I owned in my youth, 1966 Pontiac GTO. I would look and dream over this car at any car shows that happen to be showing one. I looked at Hot August Nights,(Reno,NV) everone was either way out of my pocket book or way to much work and repairs. A friend suggested I try eBay! I had never been on eBay befor and did'nt have the foggest idea what, how or where to go. A little exposure to eBay and I'm off. My first fue attempts proved empty, but I had time and was not rushing, althought the vehicles I was bidding on would have been more than I could hope for. Then one day while viewing the listed GTO's on eBay I saw a picture of what surely was dejavu. A 1966 GTO yellow with black interior, looking to close to be my old GTO. I'm flashing back to the late 60 all over again. I reviewed the car's conditions, made contact with the seller, discussed the cars conditions and made a bid. Made several bids on this GTO, entered my final offer. Crossed my figners and waited. When I returned to eBay to check on the bid status, was I surprised, I'd WON! WOW!
Now what? Emotions of fear, happiness, pride, fear, concern, What will my wife say? The next two week were long ones, woudering was this right or just a little kid playing. When I arrived to bring home the GTO and I looked at it for real, what a sense of joy I felt, this was realy mine. Coming home the the GTO in tow passer byes would honk and give the thumbs up sign That's the greatest.
We had a few items to work on and will continue to improve on but its my GTO!

I love this car.. fast & quiet. Condition is fair, which was described. Runs like a scalded dog. Seller was great communicator. Engine & tranny rebuilt, as listed.

Just sorry that PayPal, once again, dragged their feet on correcting my password.
So, I just went on w/o them..

Loved the style. Loved the performance. This Marina Turquoise/black interior & top was the best bang for the buck at that time. It was a real blast to drive. Handled extremely well considering the power.
