What it's Worth - Price Range Information
Just Sold on eBay Motors
The Just Sold on eBay Motors price range represents the lowest and highest completed sale price for this vehicle on eBay Motors within the last 90 days.
Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value Range
The Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value is representative of dealers' asking prices and is the starting point for negotiation between a consumer and a dealer. This Suggested Retail Value assumes that the vehicle has been fully reconditioned and has a clean title history. This value also takes into account the dealers' profit, costs for advertising, sales commissions and other costs of doing business. The range represents asking prices that typically occur for the vehicle model throughout the United States, not all vehicles sell for the exact same price, which is why the company also offers a value range. By showing both the low and high ends of the range the company can better reflect whether a given vehicle's asking price varies widely or hardly at all. The final sale price will likely be less depending on the vehicle's actual condition, popularity, type of warranty offered and local market conditions. This range includes pricing for used vehicles, not new or late model vehicles.

1969 Pontiac Firebird: The car is very solid. I does need some minor repairs.

It is a pure muscle car that runs great and has a very good, straight body. Great paint job. Interior is superb. It does have some electrical issues that will be repaired soon. There is a short in the lighting system. The heater isn't blowing any air. The passenger door handle doesn't open from the inside. The wipers are very slow and sometimes stop working. The speedometer isn't accurate. The high/low beam switch doesn't work. The horn doesn't work. The dome light doesn't work. Other than these few items the car is a looker and has already turned many heads.

Wow, I think most of the people who have reviewed cars on here ebay are retarded. The point of the review is to say how you like the car and how it performs - not how pissed off you are at the seller, or how dissapointed you are that you bought a 40-year-old car sight-unseen from the internet and - guess what - it has rust the seller didn't mention. No kidding. No one on ebay fully discloses what they are selling. Buyer beware.

The first gen Firebird is nothing like a Camaro, as some would have you believe. Different skin, interiors, motors, transmissions, etc. The Pontiac 350 is a dog unless you get the ultra-rare original 4 bbl version. The 2 bbl is a dog. Rated at an old-school 265. Feels like about 190. Any car with a two-speed auto is going to be a dog at some point in the spectrum. The 400 cars are quick as hell off the line if you can hook them up, but give me a couple hundred feet and my 4 cylinder mazdaspeed6 will insult them. My 69 could barely hit a buck ten and it felt like it might come apart at the seams. They are a lot of fun, though.

Great looking cars
terrible suspension
terrible weight distribution
terrible stock handling
uncomfortable if you are tall - my GTO much better
death-inducing stock braking
dollars per mile, rather than miles per gallon ;)
small trunk for size of car
ditto back seat
huge hood
hella lotta fun, though
great sound - can't beat the muscle car lope
even the dog 350 sounds good with a nice dual exhaust
a/c worthless - pressure it up and you'll soon blow the hoses...
easy to work on - monkey with a wrench can fix these cars
still a decent investment

Hey, this is an old car. I dn't know why ebay wants people to review 40 year old cars but the 69 Firebirds were great cars. Smooth running, quiet, comfortable, and so easy on the eyes.

i was th eseller of this item, so i guess my review would be that ebay needs to enforce better standards on buyers who inspect and dont pay. i clearly wrote in my add to call with any questions as it was a final sale. the high bidder came to my house and said that " i misrepresented the car and that he wasnt paying" so, in a nut shell, its money lost for ebay and time lost for me. there should be stricter guid lines set up for situations like this. thank you, john fernandes

The car is good not quite as represented but close. Seller was easy to get along with until he received my money then became more and more difficult. I paid buy it now and sent money instantly he was hard to deal with after that, so I left neautral feedback and he left me neg. why should I get a neg feedback on an item that I bought and paid for instantly it's not right!

1969 Pontiac Firebird: 1969 Firebird = worth restoring!

I found my 1969 Pontiac Firebird on ebay last year. I bought it and had it delivered and when it arrived it was better than expected. The car was in running order with a Frank Bash custom built 350 SB engine and many speed related upgrades.
I have since spent a lot of money restoring the car and I have a long way to go! With the help of ebay I found the car of my dreams. I am also able to locate the parts I need to restore the car on ebay. My advice to anyone looking for a 1967-69 Pontiac Firebird: Never rush into a deal. Think it over and talk to the owner before you bid. If possible see the car and drive the car before you bid. Have the car inspected at a place like Precision Tune if you cannot make it to the car. Also when checking out the car look for leaks and smells and smoke when running etc. Look for rust in the trunk (shock towers), floors, panels etc. Look for accident damage. Find out the car's history if you can. And always follow your intuition. Buying a classic car is a big step so make sure you get the car you need and can use!
Good luck and welcome to world of firebirds.

I bought this 1969 Firebird as a project my sons and I can work on. I was lucky to find one in this condition. The car needs minimal work to be road ready. Both the interior and exterior are in great condition. This vehicle was well cared for by it's first 2 owners. The seller was very helpful in getting the car ready to ship. I'm very pleased with my purchase. It was a smooth transaction from start to finish.
