2001 Nissan Xterra

I bought this car for my wife but unfortunitely the owner didnot tell the truth before purchased.If I know,I was't buy because the car has chech engine light on,no spare tire,or jack,front bumper has been painted,driver seat was stick without push it front,the title is in somebody's name but before purchase I called him about any problem in the car,he told me no which was lying. I went to Houston for pick up before known all the problems.My advice is that suspend the guy from selling anything on ebay because the guy is not honest eitherwise he will spoil your name. Thanks. The 2001 Xterra is a car my 16 year old son wanted, but I was against a SUV. This one does not seem to be to top heavy. It seems to be geared toward four wheeling and therefore it is not fast from a dead stop. Which takes away the thrill of trying to race someone. It is very easy to customize for their individual look. Adding electronics are very cause the seats and trim come in and out very easily. It has plenty of room in the back for all your day to day stuff. I feel like we made a very good purchase and hope to have it for years to come.
Now the bad news...
Gas Mileage is terrible, on a good day we get 16 MPG. But most people that buy a SUV are not buying it for MPG.
Be carefull with wheels, the hub is very large and few "standard" custom wheels will fit, we found out the hard way. Bought some on EBay and had to return, Luckily got our money back minus the $80 shipping cost.

I had been shopping for this particular model & year of a Nissan Xterra, for many years. I just love the style of it & the versatility.
I also was on a tight budget so I thought I would never actually be able to purchase one any year soon.
My husband & I had shopped at dealerships & their prices were out of our range & the Xterra's were not that great.
I had also been looking on Ebay for about 3 years , mostly just wishing & learning more about the Xterra & watching the auctions. And I kept hoping & praying.
Then one week I spotted the most gorgeous colored one I have ever seen & I put a picture of it on my computer screen. I never thought that I would be able to afford it but I kept watching the auction anyway & put a low bid in.
Near the end of the auction I told my husband that it would probably skyrocket buttt.......it did not!!!! I put in another bid & I WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!
My husband & I have never owned a vehicle new or used that we like more than our 2001 Nissan Xterra!!! The man that we purchased it from was super nice, he had the tank filled with gas for us when we arrived to pick it up.
I have never had a bad experience on e-bay & I have been using it for years.
All the people in my dealings on Ebay have always been wonderful, honest & courteous people. And this is why I continue to use Ebay for everything.
