1998 Nissan Pathfinder

What I like best about the pathfinder is the resale value of these vehicles. Once the major depreciation has occurred these SUVs seem to hold there value like none other. Before I purchaced I looked closely at the older ones. Those trucks were bringing near the price of a decent 1998. In buying.....resale was a major factor for me. With regards to the performance and comfort. This unit gives you a few more features than the Toyota at a cost of thousands less. Nissan motors are renound for their reliability and longivity. I would reccomend that anyone buying these units put a new timing belt on at 80,000 miles as that is the primary cause of engine failure in any of the new vehicles.
Of course regular maintanence is important to keeping any vehicle going for a prolonged time frame. These nissans are good for about 300,000 miles if a man changes the oil regularly and does the regular maintance on schedule.
Like I said........for the money.......best deal on a SUV out there.
