2004 Nissan Murano: very bad experience,He didn’t tell me the truth about his car, he is a scam
03/04/12
Dear Sir or Madam,
I acquired a 2004 Nissan Murano on eBay, on January 2012; I have attached the description by the seller to this email. But the dealer (Platinum Auto Sale) did not mention that he has removed the check engine light. I did contacted the seller prior to the bet, and inquired about the condition of the car, particularly if there is check engine light appearance, his responded to me “nothing wrong with the car” and the reason he selling because, somebody mad a bet and did not pay and that is why they will sell the car with no reserve. He didn’t tell me the truth about his car, his business is a scam, and misleading. Below you will find much of the information about this case, and I can provide you with more evidence of his tampering also you will find description of the vehicle as advertised on eBay. After the seller shipped the car from Atlanta to Texas, I went to courthouse to change the title to my name, the clerk from the court house told me to take the vehicle and do inspection before the issue a new Texas title under my name.
I took the vehicle to do the Inspection, and after running few test, the mechanic told me, that the 2004 Nissan Murano did not pass the Inspection test, I was shocked and disbelieved when I knew that someone he /she covered the problem by removing the check engine light bulb. Anyway, I ask for the estimation to fix this problem. And to my shocking surprise the mechanic give me $2,942.98, estimation to fix that issue, that if the engine and transmission are OK. And immediately called the stellar from the inspection shop, and explained the situation he put me in, and even the inspector named (Joe) talked to Travis Washington and told him about the issue, because I did not know much about mechanic issues and terms. The seller Mr. Travis Washington told me he will take care of it, and he is not aware of this issue, because he got the vehicle in trade-in deal. He promised me as gentlemen that he will send me parts and he will pay for the labor charges to fix that issue, and he added” hopefully next week” because he have to travel for business, and it will take few days to find cheaper parts in his State than what they cost in Texas , and he assured me that he will resolve this incident occurred with me, and he added by saying, he is a man of his word and will take care of it Monday or Tuesday of the next week. I didn’t know that will be my last week to talk to him, he never responded to my calls and the messages I left. I called him twice daily, but no respond. And to add salt to injury, in the 26 of June-2012 he reported me to eBay that I haven’t paid for the car, while the car and the title were in my position in Texas, I appealed my case to eBay and to you. I become a victim of rogue dealer. Platinum auto sale are very bad people, they tamper with merchant, deceiving, scamming, and they are liar promised me to fix the issue, and never did, and reported me that I didn’t pay for the car, they sold me piece of junk, and it cost me more to fix the car, and if he was honest and told people about the check engine problem I wasn’t sitting and writing about this issue. I believe you will not encourage people to tamper with something like remove check engine light.
Please I’m asking for your help and gaudiness in this matter
Thank you and God bless
